  While the food was overall good, it took over 35 minutes to receive our food while we watched all the tables around us receive their food in 10-15 minutes. Given we have two small children, this wait was challenging. The items we were waiting on were a medium burger and a rare tuna salad, so I figured there was an issue in the kitchen that caused the delay. However, nothing was said beyond the waiter repeatedly assuring us he was checking the kitchen, and no offer for any sort of discount or comp was made. Instead, the Y&Y acted like our experience was normal. Clearly this isn’t the case if all the other tables around us were able to order, eat, and leave in far less time. We had read so many good things about this place but were ultimately disappointed.

  If I could leave zero stars I would. We had a reservation for last Monday, November 10th. When we showed up, a cast member by the name of Katelyn points to this sign and said the dining plan is down in all of Disney World. She proceeds to tell us we have to pay out of pocket, take the receipt to guest services at either Animal Kingdom or our hotel to get reimbursed. We had a bad feeling about this, so we canceled the reservation. Went to guest services and they looked at me like I had 3 heads. Said they never heard of such a thing. Another cast member at a quick service place, where we ended up eating, informed us the dining plan was working fine and Yak & Yeti are a third party place and that's why the dining plan wasn't working. Shame on Yak & Yeti and this cast member, Katelyn, for miss informing so many guests that arrived. I'm sure there were many guests who thought they were going to get reimbursed and didn't. Train your employees properly Yak & Yeti!

  Of all our dining reservations this was the one I was looking forward to least and most definitely proven wrong because it was AMAZING! We ordered firecracker shrimp, bang bang calamari, ahi tuna nachos (my absolute favorite), pork pot stickers for apps. All were delicious. We were so full we werent sure how we were going to eat dinner but our meals sounded so good, we kept goingn🐷🐽😅. I ordered the Dragon roll bowl which was MASSIVE, so did my friend, we could've easily split it but instead we tried finishing it each and way over stuffed...it was SOOO GOOD. My son who doesn't eat any seafood at all ate the seared ahi tuna salad and loved it. It was just a really great experience. And our waiter used to live in Brooklyn, just like me, so it felt like home. Best disney restaurant. Hands down!

  What an absolute pleasure our dining experience was at Yak and Yeti! While the food—the Tikka Masala and the Seared Ahi—was excellent, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented, the true standout of the evening was the incredible politeness and attentiveness of our waiter, Fitch. From the moment we sat down, we felt completely looked after. Fitch was sharp, anticipated our needs without hovering, and demonstrated remarkable courtesy. What truly elevated the night, however, was the unforgettable table-side presentation. When describing the meals we ordered, he didn't just rattle off ingredients; he related the complexity of the flavors to the rare and fascinating world of language, comparing the layering of tastes to the Sare Great Andamanese language and the intricate sounds of the Khoisan South African clicking dialects—languages that Fitch is fluent in! Fitch's enthusiasm and knowledge were so infectious that the clicking language demonstration and rare Indian dialect captivated the entire sitting area. We will absolutely be coming back!

  First of all a huge thank you to our waiter Fitch. He gave the best recommendations with amazingly detailed flavor explanation. This was for our honeymoon and we came in having looked at the menu beforehand. We were already sold on the Crab Rangoon Dip which was phenomenal and exceeded our expectations. For our entrées we came in thinking we wanted honey chicken and the steak and shrimp *sticking to what we know* but they have a seasonal menu! My wife chose the Cantonese Beef Chow Fun - the flavors were savory and amazing. Everything was done perfectly along with immersive flavors. I chose the Gochujang Rib and Steak - I am usually not a spicy lover but this had the perfect sweet heat that left you wanting another bite. The ribs came right off of the bone. The steak had a kalbi marinade that gave a unique steak experience very subtle but flavorful. But most certainly the ribs and sauce stood above the rest to me. Don't get me wrong the steak was in fact good. My wife and I split these meals so we both got to experience it and we have 0 regrets except that we did not show up hungry enough! The portions are perfect and it would be a mistake to not be hungry when you come to the table here. 100/100 this will likely become a tradition for us for years to come. I hope they keep these seasonal items!!! 11-6-2025. Thank you chefs for your creations and Fitch thank you for being a superstar!!!
