Well..... let's just say your in for wild time at this place and it dont matter if your a kid or adult. This place hold a special place in me from the first time i went as a kid to today as an adult going with mine and is by far in its own league and one of the best places to stop in wile visiting disney. Located at the wilderness lodge you will find it. The food is great, definitely get the all you can eat skillets its worth it trust me. Breakfast, lunch, dinner you will be happy and full. They have the annual horse race with adults and kids and of course be weary when asking for ketchup, if you know you know. And if you dont well you will find out! The service is by far some of the best in disney, the atmosphere is like no other. The prices vary, it is disney lol. However when in Rome they say. I definitely recommend making reservations because this place is either busy to no end or dead. Depends on the day and time of year. But definitely make this a stop on your trip, you will not regret it and remember it forever. So much so ive named my cook bar and grill at my camp after it.

Lynda, oh Lynda (with a Y), we are still smiling about our fun with you, days later. You truly were our favorite part of an amazing vacation. You made our sons 16th birthday extra special! Food was great, drinks were strong, antics were fun and Lynda is pure Disney Magic. I have programmed her name in my phone with hopes that we get to visit her again.

I had so much fun here. Initially, I was a bit nervous because I’m introverted and it’s known that the servers here mess with you on purpose. But our dinner ended up being so so so fun and hilarious. We had a birthday boy in the group and so of course we had a “birthday party” for him. Our server was so funny and entertaining. For food we each ordered the skillets which are all you can eat bbq. The skillet sizes get progressively bigger if more of your group shares the same skillet type. For instance, if all four of you order the Traditional Skillet, they’ll bring a large skillet to share and put it right in the middle of the table. The bigger the skillet…the more fun :) The bbq was great. Beef brisket was my favorite. I noticed a lot of tables were for four people so if you have five or more, reservations can be a bit difficult to procure. And don’t be afraid to ask for ketchup haha

Brought our kids and got ok servers. Nothing exciting, our kids where very excited about the ketchup experience, but when we asked for ketchup another passing server said no one cares and we didnt get the 50 bottles of ketchup. It was good food and standard service. It would be a better review if we didnt go just for the fun. Probably won't go back.

I was very disappointed with my most recent trip to the Whispering cafe. I had been before And loved it so I completely understand the theme of the restaurant and how the servers are supposed to act. However when I went the other night with a friend we had the worst experience we have ever had on Disney property. Our server Lori was extremely rude and uncooperative! At first all seemed well she brought us some waters and gave us time to look over the menu but this was the end of our pleasant interactions, we had to chase her down to get our drinks because she never asked, and when we went to order she in a very rude way told my guest not to order what he wanted because it was “disgusting and no one likes it” mind you this was the only vegan option on the menu which was very discouraging. When he picked something else she then ripped the menu out of his hands and said “of course you’d get that” and not in a funny way, in a she was pissed off he got an appetizer for his meal because she thought she wouldn’t get a nice tip way. After that interaction we were so uncomfortable that when our food came out we barely touched it and honestly just wanted to leave! Our server Lori then proceeded to ONLY check in on her ONLY OTHER table (she only had us and them) she didn’t even come over to ask how our food was or if we needed anything else. So I waved her down and told her we wanted our check which I guess finally kickstarted her brain into realizing that her tip is in fact based on how she treats us and not how we entertain ourselves at dinner and proceeds to tell us to have a relaxing holiday which would be normal if she didn’t follow it up by saying that we ALL work very hard during the holidays (in a rather rude tone might I add) while handing us our check. Honestly I understand that the holidays are tough but that doesn’t excuse your behavior especially at Disney when we had payed so much money to be there. She had completely ruined our night! Acting the way she did in the service industry is completely unreasonable and this is coming from an ex-server/ someone that knows Disney’s standards. I will add however, that all of the other employees I had the pleasure of speaking with other than our server Lori were amazing, and truly delightful. But unfortunately I don’t believe I will be visiting the whispering canon again anytime soon.
