It was our first visit to Disney, we were three days in, and our kids were 4 and 5 and completely overwhelmed with every single experience. We'd been waiting for the parade to start and it started to rain. Our kids were miserable and crying. We were about to attempt to leave the park when the parade blocked us from doing so. My husband spotted the Thirsty River Bar and came back with two of the most refreshing and amazing frozen drinks. Our kids were then mesmerized by the engaging parade and we were all smiling by the time we left the park. It's a great pit-stop in Animal Kingdom.
