Our server was absolutely top notch yesterday. Don't remember her name. She had gorgeous strawberry blond curls. We've eaten at The Brown Derby before and love the food. The service is always great, but her food descriptions and interest in us having an exceptional dining experience went above and beyond.
Have been coming for 25 years, quality has gone down so much. Always save getting a filet until we go to the Derby. Ordered two, both medium. Took forever to get it. Both were charred on the outside, one well done in the center, and the other almost rare with lots of fat. Came with mashed potatoes instead of the red potatoes listed on the menu. Would have asked for another if it hadn't taken so long in the first place. We were seated right in the center, mind you we had reservations, all the waiters kept kicking our chairs and purses overhanging. Very chaotic atmosphere. Extremely dissapointing for the price.

The Seafood Fregola on the patio lounge was mind-blowing! I could swim in that crab-saffron cream broth. I definitely used bread to sop up every last bit! The service was excellent, as always! Highly recommend

If you’re looking for the best restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a special occasion, Hollywood Brown Derby is it. We celebrated our daughter’s birthday here and it could not have been more perfect.
From the moment we checked in, the service was polished, warm, and genuinely attentive. Our waiter, Rad, was absolutely top notch. Professional, engaging, and incredibly thoughtful. He didn’t just serve dinner, he elevated the entire experience. He made our daughter feel celebrated the whole night, which as a parent means everything. When you’re at Disney for a birthday, you want it to feel magical. He delivered that.
The food was just as impressive. The flavors were refined but approachable. The famous Cobb Salad absolutely lives up to the hype, and the presentation across the board was beautiful. But I have to mention the cocktails. The gin mule was hands down one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Perfect balance, crisp, refreshing, and ideal after a full park day walking around Hollywood Studios.
The atmosphere inside is classic Old Hollywood glamour. Elegant without feeling stuffy. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, sit back, and actually enjoy a meal in the middle of the Disney energy. If you’re planning a birthday dinner, anniversary, or just want a higher end dining experience at Disney, this is the spot.
Five stars for the food. Five stars for the ambiance. Five stars for Rad making our daughter’s birthday unforgettable.
If you’re at Disney through Monday like we are, put Hollywood Brown Derby on your list. It’s worth it.
I would like to say that our waitress, Wendy, was absolutely WONDERFUL! She was kind, attentive, obliging, and everything a fantastic waitress should be. At the end of our meal, she tripped and dropped dishes on my side of the booth, and I know she was horrified. She did nothing wrong besides be a human and make an error. Her manager, Tito, came to our table and began to berate her in front of customers, raising his voice, and not behaving in a professional manner. When my friend got wine on her sweatshirt, he gave her a voucher for "maybe up to $50." $50 for a sweatshirt? Really? Not, "let me replace that sweatshirt for you, refill your half full wineglass that was knocked over, give you a complimentary dessert..." nothing. He was unkind to us as customers, and unkind to our waitress.
I feel like, as someone who works at a restaurant like The Brown Derby, Tito, should behave in a more professional manner, especially when it comes to dealing with his staff and his customers. I am not sure how other managers there act, but I know that Wendy deserved better, and so did we.
Other than that, the food was delicious, and I would love to sit in Wendy's section again. She gets all the stars and recommendations.
