I have been here twice. First time amazing cm, food was great, and drink spot on. The guest participation was also fun. CM was attentive, stopped by frequently, shared insight about what else we may want to order tried the octopus cerviche-was great. Second time was almost complete opposite-horrible CM who was rude-not because of character acting just rude, saw her 2x and then she disappeared until the bill was due and she wanted us gone. Never encouraged the crowd participation, never talked about the food, absolutely worst service. And the food was delayed so the hot was cold and the cold was warm. We are giving it another go. Honestly should have been one and done and then would have amazing memory of it. Time is only 45 minute, 2 drink max, somewhat pricey. A lot depends on the cm as far as how much fun you have. Photos were from the first visit...second visit the food and drinks did not even look the same.

The food was tasty but we had the corn cakes and they were very chewy although full of flavor. We were not waited on for 6bminuted after we sat down which may not seem like much but when you get only 45 minutes it affects your eating drinking and we delt hurried. We still had 3/4 of 2nd drink and food when they told us we had to leave and she was not understanding about it when we told her of our wait time. Ambiance was meh.... Staff was not into it. Confused and not animated at all. Food offerings were strange at best. If you want us quick. Give quick options that are sharable. I was told by family that have been in back rooms that no interaction could be seen or heard. It can work but needs help.

Let's get a few things clear about this place. This is a type of bar/experience you have to make a reservation for to have a quick drink (45 minutes max). If you are looking to sit down for an hour or hours to eat and drink, this is not the place at all. If you are looking to get in a couple of quick drinks at one of the only places to get alcohol at Magic Kingdom, then this is the place for you. The bar's theme was awesome and so were the servers and bar tenders. Yes, this place is expensive, but so is the rest of Disney World. Either way, I think this place is worth going to once. The sour beer and blonde ale were great too.

Themed Bar With Uneven Seating and No Plan to Fix We visited Magic Kingdom primarily to experience the Beak and Barrel. As fans of Disney Imagineering and well done themed bar and restaurant concepts, and longtime fans of Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, this was a must-do for our Orlando visit. We made our reservation 60 days out with high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience fell flat almost immediately. We were seated at a table with no view of the pirate pub at all. Instead, we were tucked into a far-off corner facing an exit door. There was no sightline to the cast, very little atmosphere, and none of the immersive elements that make this space special — the pirate songs, crowd interaction, or the parrot. From our table, none of that was part of the experience. When we shared our disappointment with the Cast Members, we were told there was nothing that could be done and were reminded that we only had 45 minutes. Even briefly standing or walking around to see the concept was discouraged, as it would count against our allotted time. When we asked that management be made aware of our tables negative impact for future guests, it was made very clear that the issue was already known and that there were no plans to change or address it. That response was honestly more disappointing than the table itself. We did not expect special treatment. We simply wanted to be part of the experience we planned our day around. Instead, it felt like a lottery — if you are randomly assigned a bad table, you are stuck there with no recourse. For a brand like Disney that prides itself on guest experience, this felt surprisingly dismissive. The Beak and Barrel has potential, but until seating and guest concerns are handled with more care, it misses the mark.

Deeply Disappointed with Beak and Barrel – Prioritizes Turnover Over Guests Booked our reservation 60 days in advance at The Beak and Barrel in Magic Kingdom, expecting the magical Disney experience we've always known. High hopes for the pirate-themed tavern were shattered when we were told to stand—without any consideration if we would like to wait for a table or even asked if it was okay after a full day in the parks. I made a reservation 60 days in advance. That usually should mean that a table is reserved. It would be different if i was a walk in. Spoke to the manager, who acknowledged our dissatisfaction but offered zero resolution or compensation. This marked our first truly bad customer service encounter at Walt Disney World, where the focus seemed squarely on maximizing throughput rather than delighting guests with seating or comfort. Disney thrives on exceptional experiences, yet Beak and Barrel felt like a rushed, standing-room assembly line. We'll skip it next time—stick to spots that truly prioritize visitors.
