Was looking forward to a great meal. Was here years ago. This trip was not so great. The servers and service was all decent. Sushi appetizer was very good and have had much better. Wife’s glass of Pinot noir was small, must be doing 4 ounces instead of a 5. Can buy the bottle for 20, her small glass 18. Yes it is a restaurant. We both ordered the chicken and shrimp. No more appetizer as used to be. No longer bean sprouts, now udon noodles. Here is the dissatisfaction the food was so tasteless from a chef cooking samurai style. Chicken bland and tough, very few pieces of onion and zucchini. Udon noodles cold. Still tipped as a person should, wife’s plate didn’t bother to take the leftover as I usually eat later, especially being protein. Was tempted to give lower score. Yes it can be an off night but the bill being $157. Expected at least to be somewhat much, much better.

Teppan Edo at Epcot is hands down one of the most entertaining and consistently great dining experiences on Disney property. From the moment you sit down the energy is high and the chefs absolutely steal the show with their knife skills humor and perfectly timed performances that keep both kids and adults locked in the entire meal. The food is excellent every single time. The steak is tender the shrimp is cooked perfectly and the chicken is juicy with incredible flavor. The fried rice is a standout and honestly worth the visit on its own. Portions are generous and everything comes out hot fresh and cooked right in front of you which makes the experience even better. Service is smooth and professional even when the restaurant is packed which it usually is. It feels fun without being chaotic and special without being stuffy. It is a great option for families couples or anyone looking to add something memorable to their Epcot day. If you want great food top tier entertainment and a true sit down experience that feels like part dinner part show Teppan Edo delivers every time. One of those places you leave already talking about when you will come back.

My rating is low not because of the food, which was ok, but the fact that 3 of us were crammed into a table of 7. I was on an edge, no room to move and ate awkwardly. We could have gotten another table but there would have been the same problem if we didn’t sit in the middle. I noticed another couple smooshed in a table across from us.

Worst beef ever Wagyu Beef so tough you can't chew it! On November 10, 2025, I paid 88.00 for a piece of wagyu steak that was so tough you could not chew it, even when cut into small pieces. All food lacked seasoning. The sirloin was extremely tough also. On the bright side service was good. I would highly recommend you find another place to eat at Epcot. This was a huge disappointment and waste of $240 for 3 people.

Awful- rude staff who just pack in the crowds. Having arrived on time for our reservation we waited for over half an hour for our table in their chaotic waiting area where we observed several walk ins being seated. I went and asked whether we were to be seated soon as we had a show at 8pm. The front desk person impatiently and unapologetically said they were running “slightly late” and we’d be seated within 15 minutes by which time we’d have been too late for our show, plus having experienced the rude waitress at the front desk we didn’t want to eat there anyway. Loud chaotic environment and really shocking service- a discredit to Japan and Disney! On the plus side we got some brilliant Moroccan street food and were on time for our show which was excellent, did put a dampener on the beginning of our evening though. Next time I wouldn’t bother and just eat around the world with all the other friendly and timely establishments on the property!
