The T-Rex Cafe experience exceeds expectations! But only if you have Cole as your server! Only kidding, I’m sure the others are wonderful, but we had an extraordinary time with Cole. Very personable, helpful and engaging. The atmosphere of this facilities speaks for itself, considering you almost could even buy a dinosaur upon entry. It only gets better as the meal goes on. We had the buffalo chicken dip, the bacon mac & cheese, and the chicken fried chicken! We would suggest all of them, especially the buffalo chicken dip, and the mac & cheese!

Feedback on Phone Experience + Question About T-Rex Café Reservation Policy Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience trying to make a reservation at T-Rex Café (Disney Springs) this morning, and also ask if anyone else has run into this situation. I called to make a reservation for about 15 people for a birthday party, and the person who answered (his name was Michael) didn’t seem very interested in helping me or walking me through the process. It honestly came across like he didn’t want to be there, and I left the call feeling confused about the next steps. He told me that reservations for 15 people require a $100 deposit, which would then be deducted from our bill when we dine. I haven’t seen this policy anywhere on the official Disney dining rules or on the T-Rex Café reservation info — has anyone else heard of this? If anyone has experience with large-party reservations there or knows the correct policy, I’d really appreciate your insight. Thanks so much! 😊

We went to T-Rex Cafe on our recent vacation and it did not disappoint! When dining, you will either be seated in the dinosaur section or the ocean section. There are fish tanks in the restraunt to view and animatronics everywhere! Every 15 or so minutes, there is a meteor shower where the restraunt really comes to life. It is very cool, but can also be loud or overstimulating for some. The food was pretty good too! We ordered the cheese sticks to begin. They were super fresh and had great cheese pulls. The creole chicken and shrimp ravioli was very good and had a slight kick to it. The colosso beef nachos were a huge portion and definitely can be split between two or more people. Our waitress Oskarely checked in on us regularly and provided us with everything we needed. I would highly recommend getting a reservation before or you will have to wait. Also, look into joining the Landry's Club!

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Our server Sean was great and very attentive , he made sure to check on us with food and if we needed anything during our dinner. It’s a theme restaurant so there was lot of noise and the dinosaurs along with other fishes were a great experience for the kids and adults. We made reservation online so definitely recommend doing so as there is a huge wait for walk in. Kids enjoyed Jurassic chicken tidbits and Rocky’s pasta. We had the sampler for appetizer and burger. Food portion is great and enough to share. Kids portion would be good for one kid. Overall great experience at the T -Rex Cafe.

Wish I could’ve given this zero stars. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We booked reservations. Once our table was ready the hostess called our name we walked towards the back of the restaurant with our child in the stroller as we were being seated she proceeded to let me know that we needed to leave our stroller at the front of the restaurant. I was puzzled looking around at all the people with wagons and strollers sitting at tables. The host again says ohh well we have a no stroller policy inside the restaurant. I asked her to look around at the millions of strollers inside the restaurant. She turns to me and says ohh well we don’t know if we can seat you because the stroller needs to stay up front. Very unprofessional we would’ve left the restaurant but they wanted to charge me 10.00 per person to cancel our reservation since we did not want to eat or deal with the racial profiling knowing that plenty of families were there with strollers and we were being targeted. Even after the host was rude to me and my family I had to remind her that the family before us left their check on the table. She grabbed the check from the table and walked off as if I did something wrong. As we waited for our server we noticed we were the only ones who didn’t have silverware or napkins set on our table to begin with like everyone around us. This was the WORST food and experience I ever had.
