The characters and dessert were great here, the front service people who check you in and take you to your table especially "Danielle" were horrid, pushy, loud, obnoxious and all together unacceptable for the price you pay to dine here imo, sat with nothing to drink for 15 mins+ wondering who my server even was? Was literally in the middle of eating the mushroom soup went to speak and had someone try to take my full soup away and he put his finger in the soup!! When I said hey I was eating that he just puts it back down looking awkwardly and disappears this was like 3 mins after we got our soup lol for the price the service was a joke also the mushroom stroganoff with a side of beef lol was a joke 50 mushrooms 2 slices of beef for the price it was honestly ridiculous.

Fabulous food and dining experience at Story Brook! Beef stroganoff, prime rib, and salmon were all to die for. Mushroom soup was a hit with the table! Cool character interactions and theming. Our favorite dessert was the warm berry tart.

I’ve seen a lot of character breakfasts/dinners that phone it in when it comes to the food because it’s more about the character meet and greets but not this place. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was pretty top notch. I got the prime rib and my only gripe there would be ask for salt and pepper to season the prime rib and mashed potatoes with before you get your food so you don’t have to wait around for it. Even the mushroom bisque, which I thought I wouldn’t like, was very thick and savory. I honestly just wish that there had been bigger servings of the sides and maybe a little bit of a thicker piece of prime rib but overall, it’s easily the best character meal we’ve been to. All of the desserts were fantastic.

Food is good, but not great or perfect. Everything is served really fast, but at the same time, i felt being hurried, being asked multiple times if i had finish or what main course i would have. At a Sprouts market one could get almost the same quallity. Service was good, despite the fellings mentioned, but not great. Desserts are just ok to good. The reason to come here are the characters of course and, as always at Disney, impecable. We met Snow White, Grumpy, Dopey and the Queen. All of them, amazing, fun and present through the dining experience.
Everyone that says the food here is perfect is either blinded by the magic that really emerges when dining here or had never experienced a good meal and service at a restaurant.
All that to say the cost per person is 69usd + tx + tip. You pay for the characters experience and to make family, kids, wifes and so on, happy with it.
