My partner and I were excited for our first visit to Steakhouse 71, but it may also be our last. The moment we told our server we were using the Disney Dining Plan, she rolled her eyes right in front of us. From there, her attitude didn’t improve—no smile, no eye contact, and a monotone tone throughout the entire meal. It honestly felt like we were an inconvenience more than guests.
The food wasn’t enough to save the experience either. My steak was cooked unevenly, with parts rare and other parts closer to medium, which is not what you expect from a Disney restaurant.
My partner considered speaking with a manager, but decided not to in case she was simply having a bad night. We did eventually get her to lighten up a bit at the end, but the overall experience had already fallen flat.
We still left a $21 tip. And just for context—we normally tip 20–22% even when using the dining plan.
This was our first visit to Steakhouse 71… and possibly our only.

Sever is awesome guys felt comfortable emidiatly with him (Teddy) fantastic attitude! Just what you expect from Disney employees. My wedge salad was delicious and pretty on a plate. I'm not fancy person but this is the perfect fancy for us. Prime rib was so tender cooked perfectly so was the wife's filet the Mac and cheese was on point and I really enjoyed the house horseradish. The atmosphere is perfect for a nightly steak house but could be less open don't know if it matters with how quickly our food came yet with enough time to enjoy read through the Karen's great night out that we don't get much Big Thanks to Teddy for his super service!!!!!!

This is the equivalent of an Outback Steakhouse or perhaps an Applebees on Disney property, don't expect anything more than that. Your dining will take place in a loud, crowded mess hall, as if you were trying to leave Magic Kingdom immediately after the fireworks.
I ordered the prime rib at medium-rare (pay attention to this, it's going to be important). This thing came out well-done. Gray as the cement I walked in on. Someone in the back thought that was acceptable and sent it out anyway. That same person may have also been wearing welding goggles at the time or maybe they had seared their retinas from staring incessantly into the spotlights above the grill before they shoveled this floppy asphalt on to my plate. A friend of mine had ordered the same "prime" rib, his was cooked properly yet nobody noticed the stark difference between the two. Let it be known, our waitress was not the one to bring us the food. I notified the waitress of the issue when she came by, and was instructed to cut into the aforementioned thin slab of shoe leather as if that would have made a difference. She promptly removed it from the table. About 5 minutes later another waitress returned with a more correctly prepared "prime" rib. They really need to change the name on the menu, or at least put the name "prime" in quotes, because there was nothing prime-grade about the cuts that came to our table. To put it simply, it was bland, full of gristle, and void of any real flavor. Perhaps i messed up and should have ordered the filet.
It wasn't worth it, we wanted to try a new place, and made a bad call. If you are looking for a decent steakhouse, do yourself a favor, and go to STK at Disney Springs. It is absolutely amazing. You'll probably spend a little more, but at least you won't leave a steakhouse still wanting a steak. Side note; our waitress was amazing, super nice, and none of this was on her. She was great.

This is my FAVORITE place in all of Disney World to eat. I have been to Disney many times, and this is the ONLY place I visit every single time I am in town.
Breakfast is my favorite meal to enjoy here before taking the short walk over to Magic Kingdom. It is the absolute BEST start to a Disney day! Highly recommend the steak and eggs on the breakfast menu. For a lighter option I am also a fan of the avacado toast.
Lunch it is the stack burger all the way. They also do fantastic cocktails and wedge salad.
You cannot go wrong with Steakhouse 71!

The servers Anthony and Kim were great. They were attentive and compassionate to our children. In the middle of taking our order, my daughter spilled her drink on the table and chair. Anthony jumped right in to clean up, without showing any concern, then got right back to taking the order without skipping a beat. His professionalism and calmness helped us keep my daughter calm, because it was just a mistake. My son was asleep when we arrived. Kim brought over another chair to make a temporary bed for him, so I could set my son down and enjoy my meal. Their attention, kindness, and professionalism turned a typical, interrupted dinner with kids into a lovely evening.
