As someone who travels to Japan frequently, this restaurant definitely serves up the flavors and experience of a real izakaya, just adjusted somewhat for the American palate and portion expectations. Our waitress, Akane, was very pleasant and diligent. Make a reservation, it’s busy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Incredible Experience!
Sushi Katana completely exceeded my expectations. The sushi was fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor — easily some of the best I’ve had in Orlando. The presentation was stunning, and every roll was a masterpiece.
What truly made the experience special was the owner’s hospitality — he treated us like family and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. It’s rare to find service and food quality that impressive.
Highly recommend Sushi Katana to anyone who loves great sushi, great vibes, and genuine care. 🍣💯

Excellent meal and service at Shiki-Sai in the Japan section of Epcot. We were able to get a reservation, and we were promptly seated when we arrived. Eating anywhere in Epcot for a sit down meal basically requires a reservation, so make sure you make one as far in advance as possible. Also, when making a reservation, make sure you make it in the correct restaurant as there is a Teppan restaurant (chef prepares food on a grill in front of you) in the same building. This restaurant primarily serve sushi.
The decor in here is outstanding. Authentic Japanese decor that gave you the illusion that you were dining in Japan.
For dinner, we had the six piece assorted Kushi. The dish consisted of two beef, two chicken and two shrimp skewers. Excellent flavor with the beef being the best. Highly recommend it. We then had two orders of the. Kappa Maki Roll (cucumber) and an order of the shrimp tempura roll. Very good. We finished off with the Ichigo Parfait (strawberries, cheesecake and vanilla ice cream) and Mochi ice cream. Love the plate presentation on the mochi! The parfait was okay and I probably wouldn’t order that again.
Overall, a very good meal. Very efficient on getting us in and out without feeling rushed. Enjoy!

WORST DISNEY DINING EXPERIENCE!
Extremely disappointed with Shiki-Sai. We had an 8:40 PM reservation, seated at 8:45, and ordered cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. Shortly into our entrees, staff were already Windexing windows at 9:20.
Around 9:25, while still eating, our server asked if we wanted anything else, so I ordered another cocktail. At 9:35, another server brought the check, saying the kitchen was closed. We told her we were looking forward to green tea ice cream, she said, “Oh, I can do that,” but to our disgust, a third staff member brought it in a paper to-go cup with the payment device.
If Disney accepts 8:40–9:00 reservations, guests should not be rushed or feel like an inconvenience. Serving dessert in a to-go cup while pushing the check is disrespectful, not the Disney standard.
On top of that, the sushi was low quality, and my entrees were overly salty/MSG-heavy leaving us all feeling swollen. Don’t waste your time or money here.
