Very Surprised at the lack of service at this restaurant. I had a reservation at 3:15. We arrived 60 minutes early. I was told that I could check in at 2:55 for my reservation. Arrived back at 2:55, checked in and went back up 3:25 to ask about if they knew when I would be seated. The guy said momentarily, and Danielle the hostess came to get us-she saw me ask if he knew when the table would be ready. She was very annoyed, that I checked on my reservation. I didn’t even get an attitude with anyone. How dare I check on my seats 30 minutes past check in time. She was very loud and sarcastic in her tones when talking to my group. My daughter, a hospitality manager felt the same vibes that I did. Manners at Disney World should be a given. I have a policy that I treat people the way I want to be treated. Have the day you deserve Danielle.

Got to say I am pretty disappointed with my experience here and I wish I wasn't. It was my 2 year wedding anniversary and my husband really likes Fantasia, so I booked the Sci-Fi Dinner 1st show package at 4:40pm. We didn't get seated at our 4:40 time and waited quite a bit past our reservation time. Dinner was okay, the atmosphere is good, the little cars are super cute. We were seated with another family of 4 (it was just the two of us) in a 3 row car. The table size is super narrow, so if you're clumsy like I am, you might want to avoid this place. I knocked my water into my plate and drenched my fries and myself. Our server was there in a flash with napkins. I ordered the steak frites medium and my husband had a burger, medium well. My steak was medium well and his burger was medium, maybe less than medium. Once it was time for the check, I noticed the Fantasia show tickets were for the second show at 8pm, which conflicted with other plans we had. I asked the waitress about it and she told us that we missed the window and she had strict guidelines to follow and couldn't accommodate us. The whole point of booking this package was for the reserved seats of the first show? What a waste. We ended up going to the first Fantasia show at 6pm (that had tons of seating) and had a great time anyways. I wouldn't book this package. Save your money and just split the two.

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant was a really fun surprise, especially if you enjoy burgers and themed dining. The burger options are plentiful and actually very good, making it easy to find something satisfying. The drive in style setup is super cool, and the big screen playing classic and funny sci fi clips the entire time adds a lot to the experience. It was great that the clips kept rotating without obvious repeats, which kept it entertaining right up until we were finishing our meal.

Made a reservation for 5:15 pm. Went to check in at 4:52 and was told I had to wait until 5 pm to check in. (8 minutes, really!) Fine, went back at 5 pm on the dot and was told we are now running 15 minutes behind, so expect to be seated at 5:30. At 5:40, I walked up again and said we have other plans and reservations, so what's the point of making reservations? How much longer? I said you have 5 minutes and I'm gone, calling Disney customer support, because this is ridiculous and you're not going to charge me. The guy was plain rude and tried to brush it off with excuses. Sorry, dude, not my problem, don't overbook. I don't expect to be seated right at that time, but waiting 30 minutes past the reservation is a joke. I told him, yeah, but if I was 10 minutes late, you would have charged me the fee. Stay away from this place, it's an absolute joke to represent Disney. I highly encourage Disney to look into this place.

This was a truly unfortunate restaurant experience. I strongly advise you not to eat here. One of the dishes we ordered was the shrimp pasta in vodka sauce. We thought that as it was 27 dollars, it would at least be a decent meal. Unfortunately, we were met with the opposite. The shrimp were completely flavorless and had to be dipped in ketchup. However, the pasta was the complete opposite. It was drenched in salt and completely inedible. Another dish, the one that I ordered, was named the classic burger, which was almost equally as terrible. The burger was completely unable to stay together. It started falling apart as soon as I picked it up. Soon enough, the vegetables from the burger had clumped up at the side of my plate, forming a pitiful-looking salad. The most atrocious part was the meat, which was completely flavorless. It had the taste of packing peanuts, and the look of them too. However, if despite these warnings you are still looking to eat here, I have a suggestion: the ketchup makes a better meal than the food itself. Additionally, we waited 25 mins with reservation. And the movie they showed isn't interesting at all. Not movie but just some meaningless short videos and not kid-friendly.
