I had the best dining experience at Planet Hollywood. Our server…Tracey… went over and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We were a party of 8 including 3 kids (3 and under)! Tracey made sure the kids were fed first … he said he has a couple of his own so he totally understands what’s it’s like to make sure they are fed first. Our food and drinks came quick and we even got refills without asking. Tracey stopped by our table many times to make sure our orders came out as requested and to see if there was anything we needed. He was an awesome server with the personality to match. If we end up eating there again before we leave… I will make sure to request him!!!

My recent visit to Planet Hollywood was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The food was mediocre at best, but the truly appalling part of the evening was the completely unprofessional and frankly, rude service we received from our waitress, Christine M. The incident started simply enough: we were reviewing the bill and noticed a charge that we needed clarification on. When we politely asked Christine M. about it, her demeanor instantly changed. Instead of offering a polite explanation or apology, she became immediately defensive and dismissive. It was shocking how quickly she transitioned from standard service to openly hostile simply because we dared to question a charge on our bill. Her responses were curt, delivered with a massive eye-roll, and made us feel like we were being an enormous inconvenience just by existing. It felt like she was punishing us for doing due diligence. A customer asking about a bill discrepancy is a completely normal part of restaurant service, and Christine M.'s reaction was unacceptable. It ruined what was left of our evening and left a deeply sour taste in our mouths. We will absolutely not be returning to Planet Hollywood as long as this level of atrocious customer service, especially from staff like Christine M., is tolerated. There are too many great restaurants in town to waste time and money here

I wanted to like this place, it was really cute and fun when you walk in. The food wasn't amazing, and the server asked me if I wanted a strawberry lemonade (non-alcoholic), which I said "sure" to, and then he charged me $15(!) for a PLASTIC take home cup.....Ummm, I was never told that was a charge. I think that is messed up for them to offer things and then not let you know there is an added fee. I would've definitely said NO! I probably wouldn't go back between the lies and the food was just OK. The restaurant was clean and the dessert looked HUGE. But we didn't get any.

This is the largest Planet Hollywood in the world. I would recommend looking at the exhibits in the upper floors if you are a movie buff. As for the food, it was top-notch. The veggie burger is high quality and represents the best I have ever tried. I loved their specialty shake inside the Mason jar which was not overly sweet, but heavily flavorful. The fries were terrific as well and didn’t even require any condiments. I took off a star because they play the music too loud, but still an overwhelmingly positive experience.

We have recently returned from a family holiday in Orlando and ate here one night. Whilst the food was nice, I cannot believe the audacity of the server we had. We’d all had a pleasant meal and there were 8 of us, so we split the bill into 4 separate checks. Me and my husband paid slightly under the “advised tip” for our portion of the check as we paid in cash and didn’t have the full “recommended amount”… I will make a point that we still left a $12 tip for our portion of the full meal and the other 3 checks still paid the recommended tip amount. Upon collection of the check the server (kristina I think her name was) demanded the extra tip money from my husband. He politely pointed out that the clause at the bottom of the check says tips are discretionary and we can alter how we see fit. She was not happy with this answer and advised that “we owed the company money and we aren’t paying our bill in full if we Miss the tip off”… I was away from the table at this point and my husband then had to ask a family member to borrow the extra amount until we got back to the hotel. I could not believe this at all. I will add that the service wasn’t spectacular. We were waiting ages for food, drinks etc.. I then had a discussion with the manager after I found out what had been said to my husband and explained that we left what we could and that I’m not here to pay her wages (I’m from the UK and tipping culture is very different here). The manager then apologised, said this would be dealt with and obtained the full tip back from the server so she ended up with nothing from us. I will add as well, that we were advised the drinks were free refills, but at no point was it pointed out that the cost of these drinks were around $17 each! (There was no price in the menu). The drink was a non -alcoholic strawberry lemonade. Yes we got to keep the planet Hollywood glass but that isn’t what we were told. That information was not provided to us and I wouldn’t have ordered the drink I did, had I known the price! The bill was a lot higher than expected and I felt like I had been ripped off as I would never pay $17 for soda and I didn’t want the glass! All I will say is if you want to eat here, but are trying to be mindful of what you are spending, the food is nice, but ask questions as I feel like everything was an upselling opportunity for this server. Every person in my party could not believe the price of their bill as we effectively paid over $130 for 8 drinks and then food on top! This server ruined a perfectly decent meal for us.
