This restaurant is a shadow of its former self. The Del Mar dinner for two was a joke and we paid $75 for a plate of corn basically. The amount of food provided left us hunger and would have been a dish for one person at any other restaurant. We were told we could have more but were basically rushed out the door while being harassed for a tip by the waiter since we were on the Disney Dining Plan. Desert was cold as well. We loved this restaurant and have been every time we go to Disney but not anymore. We will never be back after our experience.

My family and I have been visiting Epcot and Disney for years. I’ve personally visited many of the restaurants throughout the years and I finally ate here for the first time and I was impressed. It was still decorated for the holidays which was nice. The menu had some great items but we kept it simple. We started with the chips and salsa ( good and plenty fresh chips). My wife had the Paloma to drink and I had their version of a smoky old fashioned which was delicious I had two. She got the shrimp tacos three nice size tacos and the cilantro rice was on point. I had the carne asada which was cooked perfect and the scalloped potatoes with poblanos was amazing accompaniment. Overall nice dinner to a long day of fun. My wife says this is now her new favorite restaurant at Epcot . Also like to thank Eva for making us feel like La Familia !

We had planned reservation for everyday and every park. This by far was our least favorite collectively.
I will say we were a group of 17 and they were able accommodate us sitting together which was highly appreciated due to most Disney restaurants not being able to accommodate bigger groups.
The food looks delicious forsure, but was mediocre in taste. The rice tasted like riceoroni packets, the meat was a bit on the chewy side (steak, pork and chicken). The tortillas were small and cold by the time they got to our table making them hard to eat. The best thing by far were the plantains. They were absolutely delicious.
With that being said, the prices were okay. The food was okay. The atmosphere was okay. Everything was just okay.
EXCEPT the service was awful. Let me be clear we weren't upset at having to wait to be seated with having a reservation (yes, we all were there 15mins early, seated about 10-15mins after out schedule time). We weren't upset with having to wait for our drinks to be refilled or our food coming out at all different times. We understood we were a large group.
Where the service took a huge turn is our waiter and her attitude. I did not appreciate the way she spoke to some of us as it was very short and almost seemed like she was annoyed when taking orders, refilling drinks etc. After our orders were taken none of the waiters spoke to us until it came time to pay the bill. Which was also met with some attitude when we questioned if our discount qualified for the restaurant. The kids did not recieve their desserts even though it was ordered.
There is an automatic 18% tip. Due to the group this was almost a $100 automatic tip.
To say the least we were disappointed and ended up ordering food later in the night. I would think if the staff wasn't so off putting we would have enjoyed our time more. All in all I would say choose somewhere else.
