We've eaten here lots of times in the past when our kids were younger. Tonight we decided to try it again for a birthday dinner. Now my kids are adults by Disney standards so we knew it would be pricey. The meat offerings that would be the more expensive parts of the buffet were just ok. The beef was cooked well, but had no flavor. There was a sausage that tasted ok and wasn't greasy, but it was dry. I used to love the Karubi ribs, but they were replaced with another seasoning that just wasn't good. My wife and kids liked the salmon, but there were a lot of small bones in it. The soups, sides, and salads were all great and very flavorful. They honestly carried the buffet in my opinion. The desserts were terrible. The zebra domes shrunk in size and tasted kind of sour, as did the passion fruit tarts. The peanut butter brownies had good flavor but were dry. The cookies and cupcakes were generic, and the bread pudding just didn't hit the mark. They had to switch the watermelon several times due to unattended kids touching it. There were also several adults that were acting worse than children pushing their way into areas of the buffet. I jump around and don't always follow the line, but I'm not rude and wait my turn if someone is where I want to be. There were several adults that just pushed their way in between families to get what they wanted. The lobby outside the restaurant that is shared with Jiko is a mess. It's way too crowded. There are strollers and electric scooters parked everywhere adding to the congestion. It's just not well thought out. Sadly this just wasn't a $60 a person experience tonight.

If it's really busy, expect to wait in a long line to get food. I'm talking like 20 minutes for the meats and main courses. The food wasn't the worst food in the world but it was extremely salty. The staff was great though. Very friendly. Just expected more from the food.

The food was just ok, a lot of it had the same “spice” flavor and the salmon was dry. It was loud and crowded which was expected. My 11 year old was charged as an adult even though she eats like a bird. Supposedly if you’re over 9 years old you’re an adult. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was too tired to complain. Definitely not worth the money. I could see $25-$30 per person, but not $60.

I cannot believe we spent $60 a person on this restaurant. Nothing was special about it. It was super loud and crowded, so the atmosphere was not enjoyable. But, most of all, the food was pretty terrible. It was hard to find anything that I even halfway liked. I usually love salmon, but this tasted fishy. I do not recommend this restaurant. For our group of 7, they added 18% gratuity for a buffet.

We've been for breakfast and dinner now and had excellent food each time. This is some of the most flavorful and unique food on property. Maybe not the best option for picky eaters, but the wide variety of foods and flavors make it a strong choice for many people. We will be back! Reservations shouldn't be too hard to get, but as with all Disney World spots it is better than have it and not need it. Service has been wonderful both times!
