Be Our Guest Restaurant is a great place to eat while visiting the park. You’re definitely paying extra for the experience, not just the food. Seeing the characters up close and being inside the castle is what makes it special.
The food is good, but not the best meal you’ll have at Disney. That said, the atmosphere and overall experience make up for it. Reservations are basically a must — walk-ins are possible, but you have to get really lucky.
Would I come back even with grown kids? Yes, absolutely. It’s still worth it for the setting alone.
And yes… try the Gray Stuff. It’s actually good.

We had an extra special visit to Be Our Guest this time around. We had just sat down to order appetizers when our newborn son had a diaper blowout. Christeen went “to infinity and beyond” for us. While my wife took care of the baby, she kept my wife’s appetizer and entrèe warm and when she returned, she promptly brought out her food. Christeen took it upon herself to do this, as I didn’t even ask!
While that in itself was wonderful, she even asked a manager to provide us with a “No Strings Attached” voucher for a complementary onesie from the Baby Care Center. Thank you to Bill, one of the managers, as well for helping with providing magic to our day. Merci Christeen!
Aside from that wonderful service, the food never disappoints! I ordered the blue crab bisque and my wife the French onion soup. For the entrèe I ordered the filet mignon and the wife the steak frites. Incredible! For dessert we had the enchanted rose.
Other than the parades, this is the only place in the park where you will see the Beast walk around and interact with the guests. He came out about once every 45 minutes.

Wonderful waiter! Great food! Saw the beast! (Watched the flower petal drop) but lean in here and lemme tell you sumthin real quick…. You finna pay…. Boy oh boy, you finna pay…. Gon head and put it in the budget fam… and don’t get me wrong, lik I said just then, the food is AMAZING. The waiter we had he stayed in character, explained the menu and how everything works, told us facts about the restaurant, and still kept it real and broke everything down to me and my wife cause he knew we still live in the real world and knew that neither Snow White nor nan one of them 7 dwarfs was gon cover this bill, and I got Princess Tiana cell number to ask her to bake us some beignets….100/10, I’d go back again (the red rose in my pics, it’s actually the dessert and BOI lemme tell ya, 🔥)
Unfortunately I wish I was writing a better review based on the perception of how wonderful this restaurant is.
Out of state visitor and had reservations for dinner our second night staying at the resort. Upon arrival the restaurant was behind schedule about 20 minutes, which is understandable since Christmas is a busy time.
While waiting we requested to sit in the west wing. We were told they could try but could not make any promises. There is a "courtyard" that you are able to wait at before you are seated. while sitting there the host comes out of the front door into the restaurant which happened to be in front of where we were sitting. He calls our name then walks past us and up to another hostess then says " can you believe this guy requested the west ting (laughing)". I was walking behind him and I don't supposed he realized we could hear him.
We were seated, Not in the west wing in the gallery area opposite side of the ballroom.
The food was at best mass cooked cafeteria food, Filet Mignon overcooked and green beans undercooked. Food arrived lukewarm. We have children so they do have a character beast that walks through but wasn't very interactive.
Staff working there did not appear very friendly. It is $72 per adult plate which consist of an appetizer, main course, and dessert. A family of four is about $400 with no alcohol.
Extremely disappointing. For the cost and for cast members to act this way, this is not the disney experience.
Overall there are better restaurants WOULD NOT BOOK THIS ONE!

i'm Be Our Guest is absolutely beautiful. Walking in truly feels magical, and I understand that a big part of what you’re paying for is the experience and atmosphere. That part did not disappoint.
The food, however, was just okay. I tried the filet mignon, the French onion soup, and the crab soup. None of it was bad, but for the price point, I honestly expected much more. It didn’t feel like the quality matched what we paid, even keeping the theme in mind.
What really upset me was the wait. I had a reservation, checked in within the 15-minute window that’s allowed, and still ended up waiting an additional 50 minutes to be seated. An hour-long meal turned into nearly two hours, which meant losing valuable park time with my children. To make matters worse, we watched multiple parties who arrived after us get seated before we did.
When I asked the hostess about the excessive wait, I was told that even though I checked in online (as I’ve done successfully with other Disney restaurants), I also needed to check in separately with the hostess. There was no signage, announcement, or staff member indicating this, so naturally I assumed the process was the same as elsewhere in the park. That was very frustrating and poorly communicated.
Another disappointment was seating. You are seated wherever they choose, so don’t assume you’ll be placed in the ballroom. We were not, and it was hard not to feel disappointed when we saw guests who arrived after us being seated in the ballroom, which is significantly nicer than where we ended up.
Overall, the restaurant is stunning and worth seeing at least once, but between the food quality, long wait despite a reservation, confusing check-in process, and seating experience, I left feeling disappointed. Just sharing as an FYI for others considering it.
