1 hour for breakfast to be served cold. And before that, we waited 25 minutes to be given a table for 2 and when we walked in, the restaurant was only half full at 9:30am. Why the wait, and why is the breakfast so bad. And they push you to take the “enhancements”. When we said no and just wanted to order from the menu, the waitress’s face dropped. What a joke. Avoid this place.

I looked that they had a nice spacious out of the way place to keep my grandkids stroller. Our meals were delicious and full of flavor and presented well

Dayanara was our waitress. She was nothing short of amazing!! Quick with the suggestions and recommendations. The food was delicious, drinks lacked in the taste factor but that may just be us. We will be returning as long as we can have Dayanara as our waitress.

Really was excited for this restaurant. Hands down the worst food/experience on Disney property. This is coming from a DVC member and annual pass holder so we have been to many many restaurants. The server brought out drinks but that was the only times he refilled them. He even said when our meals came out he would get refills but never did. I got the pasta with chicken and the chicken was the driest chicken I've ever had. The pasta has very little flavor. The steak my wife ordered was well overdone and they didn't get her side correct. She ordered the hassleback potatoes but they just gave red potatoes. She advised the server and he said he would get the kitchen to correct it. They then bought out sliced red potatoes but they were undercooked and no seasoning. My daughters pasta meal was not good at all. Her mac and cheese was ok. The bread we got for an appetizer was good but very small portioned. No way near worth the $14. Overall there is not way we will be back. Every quick service at the resorts were better than this experience. The server even said he was not going to send over a manager but was going to see what he could do with the bill. At the end he handed us the bill at full price. Such a horrible horrible horrible experience. Disney should be ashamed they call this a dining experience.

Ale & Compass, one of the table service restaurants at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, has been the starting point for our social club’s Disney Christmas Tree Tour for four years straight. We make reservations 60 days in advance on the Disney app. Our brunch has always been delightful. Ken took us to our table and is a real ray of sunshine to start the morning. The wait staff is top notch- Alba took care of us in grand style this year. The food is always great. The decor is coastal-inspired, with colors and glass that reminds you of a cozy lighthouse. The Continental Enhancement, an add on that is a self-service buffet with fruit, yogurt parfaits, house made granola, and breakfast pastries like citrus loaf and cinnamon rolls- is the best deal, because your drink and entree come with this all for $28. The prices are typical Disney vacation level, but you get a great meal in a beautiful restaurant.
