  It had been a decade since we had dined here, and it was far superior to what we remembered. It had a fixed menu where you could choose an appetizer, entrée, and dessert for $99 per adult. Delicious rolls are included with every meal. We had the goat cheese ravioli and the filet, and both were fantastic. The steaks were grilled just as asked, with a Pittsburgh char. The wine menu is incredible, with options from practically every wine area in the globe. We had not eaten here in a decade, but it was far superior to what we remembered. It was a fixed menu in which you could choose an appetizer, entrée, and dessert for $99 per adult. Your meal is served with delicious rolls. We ate the goat cheese ravioli and the filet, both of which were fantastic. The steaks were grilled just as ordered and served with a Pittsburgh char. The wine menu is incredible, with options from about every wine area in the world.

  This is my favorite restaurant in Disney World as well as one of my favorite restaurants in the USA. I would put this up there with a number of Michelin starred and Bib Gourmand recognized restaurants that I have dined at. In the past, I’ve found that I haven’t been all that impressed with other Disney signature dining options or found them to be worth the cost, (Toledo, even Jiko - which is probably an unpopular opinion), but the California Grill is a must visit every trip. First off, the vibes are always immaculate, dining here is a welcome oasis from the hectic (but fun) Disney environment. The service is also always top-notch. We’ve had the privilege of having Baker as our waiter a few times and he’s always extremely personable, professional, and attentive. Our standout favorite dishes from this last visit were the pork tenderloin that comes with the most tender and flavorful pork belly accompaniment - the flavors in this entree worked so well together; the chai creme brûlée, the textures and flavors were unreal; and of course, the goat cheese ravioli, which we never skip. The only dish we probably wouldn’t order again was the surf n turf roll, which was good but not mind blowing, especially if you have good sushi where you live. The prefix price is one hundred percent worth it in our estimation.

  I am writing to provide both positive feedback and to raise a serious concern regarding our experience at California Grill. First, I want to recognize Walter, who provided exceptional service. He went above and beyond in his professionalism, was gracious and respectful throughout the evening, and created a warm, positive experience that made our family feel genuinely valued. His level of service reflects the standard we have come to expect from California Grill and is a large part of why we return several times a year. I would also like to take a moment to highlight Oliver, a server from our dining experience in late February, whose service left a lasting impression. Oliver demonstrated an equally outstanding level of professionalism, attentiveness, and intuitive guest care. His ability to anticipate needs, engage warmly without being intrusive, and create a seamless, elevated dining experience truly embodied the excellence and attention to detail that define California Grill. It is team members like Walter and Oliver who set this restaurant apart and make each visit feel special and memorable. This is why I gave 2 stars. In addition, the culinary experience continues to be exceptional. Each dish was not only delicious but beautifully presented, reflecting both creativity and precision. The attention to detail in both flavor and presentation elevates the entire dining experience and consistently meets the high standard we associate with California Grill. It is clear that great care and artistry go into every plate. Unfortunately, our experience was significantly impacted during the fireworks viewing. A staff member, Lisa (who identified herself on her name tag as being from Bucks County, PA), stood directly in front of our table for the majority of the show, obstructing my children’s view. This was not a brief or incidental occurrence; she remained there without making any effort to step aside or position herself appropriately. When I politely asked her to be mindful and not block our view, she responded by telling me that next time I should “go outside and watch from the Terrace.” This response was not only dismissive but entirely inappropriate and unprofessional, particularly given that the fireworks experience is a primary reason we choose to dine at California Grill. Her conduct was disruptive, inconsiderate, and fell well below the standard of service expected at this level. It was disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable. I did inform the manager, Ashley, at the time; however, I am following up to ensure that this matter is addressed appropriately. I would appreciate confirmation that this concern is taken seriously and that steps are being taken to ensure this type of experience does not occur again. We value this restaurant and have consistently chosen it several times a year. I hope this issue with Lisa from bucks county pa will be handled in a manner that reflects the high standards California Grill is known for.

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. We booked three months in advance for a 30th birthday celebration and were really looking forward to it. As we were a group of 12, we made two bookings of six and took the extra step of calling ahead, linking the reservations, and leaving notes requesting to be seated together or at least nearby. Unfortunately, none of this seemed to be taken into account. Instead, we were seated at two separate tables with another party placed in between us—despite that group having only been seated 30 minutes earlier. To make matters worse, we were kept waiting in the lobby, which ate into our already limited booking time. When we raised this with staff, we were told they had tried to offer an alternative table and that managing a restaurant is difficult. While we understand challenges can arise, this situation could and should have been handled better—especially given the advance notice and the occasion. Honestly, for a Disney experience, this was very surprising. You would expect better organisation and accommodation, especially for larger groups celebrating something special. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Disney restaurants for large parties, as they clearly struggle to accommodate them properly. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience that left us feeling let down on what should have been a special family celebration.

  My first time at Disney and we had an amazing time there but definitely in a food matter the highlight of the trip was California Grill, was my birthday and I get emotional just to remembering how special they all made me feel since the moment I approached the front desk to mention about my reservation, the all staff was beyond amazing, the food was such a perfection not o my the flavor but how the plate it and looked so beautiful and appealing, the drinks OMG amazingly delicious and everything in perfect portions size, well served. It was my birthday and they gave us a table right in front of the castle and watching the fireworks show from there was sooooo special, the park and California grill experience on my birthday was something unique that I will carry the feeling forever in my life, was one of the best birthday that I ever had in life. I definitely recommend 10000x the California Grill experience and I would return to Disney only for them, how amazing they are, thank you so very for everything California Grill staff you guys are amazing ❤️ I took the dessert to go and when I open the box on the next day to have it I was like “OMG how beautiful” and they were not too sweet and perfectly balanced the flavors P.S : I’m a private chef
