Be Our Guest Restaurant offers a truly immersive dining experience conveniently located within the Magic Kingdom. The food, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding.
Our server, Noury, was exceptional and made the meal even more memorable with "awesome" service. The restaurant is a fantastic place to take photos, as the themed rooms are stunning, and you even get to see The Beast make an appearance during your visit.
I definitely highly recommend dining here for anyone looking for a magical experience with great food to match.
I really hemmed & hawed about if I wanted to eat dinner here with my 4 and 6 year old. We all love Beauty and the Beast, but I’m not really a Disney World person. This is our only trip to WDW since I was a kid! I also really wanted to see the fireworks with castle projections, so timing dinner for that was a priority. A 5:55pm reservation proved perfect for a leisurely dinner here and a getting a perfect spot for the evening parade + fireworks on an insanely busy, high crowd day.
My husband and I enjoyed our meal thoroughly and I consider us picky eaters. Most restaurants and service aren’t great nowadays. Here that wasn’t the case - our waitress was a delight and the food was delish. I thought the prices were OK for what we got. I do think the prices for kids meals are too much (and my kids are great eaters).
Be Our Guest was a highlight of our Disney trip, so I recommend it if you love the movie, even if the Beast just waves from afar. I’m so glad we decided to do this restaurant even more so than the Princess Dinner at Akershus.
Visually, the restaurant is beautiful. The Imagineers did a great job bringing the movie to real life. The service was excellent, typical of most Disney full service restaurants. The food though, was sadly just ok overall. We started with the appetizers, including the escargot, tuna tartare, and the French onion soup. The escargot was so over seasoned, that the favor of the escargot itself was missing in action. All we could taste was the garlic herb butter ingredients, which were so thick...it physically hid the escargot. The tuna tartare and the onion soup were great though. For appetizers, those would be my suggestions to any guest. Both were done as one would expect from the Disney food and beverage team. As for the entrée, we had the swordfish and the filet mignon. The swordfish is served encrusted with pepper and honestly, the pepper hid the swordfish 's own flavor and texture. We resorted to removing the black and white pepper and were pleasantly surprised with the fish which was done to perfection, flaky and seasoned just right. The filet, which was just awesome, was served with green beans and mashed potatoes. Both great. The green beans were perfectly seasoned and were perfect in my opinion. As for the desert, the crem brule was a disappointment, as the citrus flavor was reminiscent of a mix of Orange Julius and the old St. Joseph's aspirin...did not taste like there was one drop of Florida's own citrus bounty. The other two deserts, were not what i expected either as the flavors seemed muted. I have to admit that the presentation for all food items was superb, but i just wish their flavors matched their presentation throughout our dinner experience. Sorry to say, I don't think I'll be back, there are better choices at the park for great food.
We did not have a great experience at this restaurant, unfortunately. We had a 7:05 reservation and arrived and checked in at 6:45. We did not get seated until 7:40 or 7:45. Apparently their app and system went down. So all reservations pretty much went out the window. To deal with it, they had people go around randomly asking for people's names, party sizes, and time of reservation. We were one of the last to be asked for that info due to where we were waiting (in the waiting room in the study). Nobody told us they were doing that, or we would have come forward and made sure they had our info sooner. So people will reservations at 7:15 were getting seated before us. We finally filled out a card and waited quite some time. I went up front and asked where we were on the list and indicated that people with later reservations were getting seated before us. The main hostess pulled our card/info and noted that we should be seated. We then waited 10 more minutes and others with later times were still being seated (we asked the host calling their names and could see their card that they were later). We then complained and were told they were doing the best they could. We asked to get the table they were about the seat for people with later times and they did not. It was crazy for them to know we had an earlier time and not just seat us, when they had tables available. We missed the nighttime parade at our only day at Magic Kingdom as result and had a hard time finding a good place to watch fireworks. I did not give it a lower rating because our server was very kind/diligent and the food was actually good.

Mike (from Oshkosh) made our whole entire experience. We had an absolutely incredible experience at Be Our Guest Restaurant, and our waiter Mike was truly the highlight of the entire evening. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcomed and cared for. He was warm, funny, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had the best possible experience. His recommendations were spot-on, and he explained everything with such enthusiasm that it made the entire dining experience even more special.
Mike went above and beyond in every way — attentive without being overbearing, thoughtful in every interaction, and even took the time to capture beautiful photos of us so we could remember the moment. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely loves what they do, but Mike’s personality and professionalism truly shine.
My husband and I travel frequently and have dined at many upscale restaurants around the country, and I can honestly say that Mike provided some of the best service we’ve experienced in years. His kindness, sense of humor, and attention to detail turned a wonderful dinner into an unforgettable memory. If you’re dining at Be Our Guest, we highly recommend asking for Mike — he made our night magical and truly deserves all the recognition!
