  Avoiding a heat stroke and dodging 1 hour waits, we ended up at Aloha Isle to try Disney’s famous Dole Whip. What we experienced was a refreshment of seismic proportions. The line was long but moved quickly considering the amount of people on it. The menu is simple and straightforward, which really is a good thing to keep things moving. We ordered the Tropical Serenade Float with pineapple Dole Whip instead of coconut. We got it, stepped to the side, and then entered heaven. The Dole Whip alone is so sweet and refreshing with a creamy consistency. Add in the POG juice underneath for thirst quenching and the coconut cake pop for, well, just cause, and you have a perfect treat to hold you over until dinner or while you wait for Jungle Cruise like we did. It is a shame this isn’t commercially available at every store because it was one of the biggest highlights of us eating not only at Disney, but in all of Orlando. At Disney World calling things a “must do” is a bit of an oxymoron, but if there’s one thing we could call a “must do”, it’s this.

  Definitely generous portions of highly satisfying and low calorie cold treats. It almost is healthy - legitimately - because Dole whip is made out of pineapple (only like 150 calories for a giant treat). Plus, this is a rare find so I've been told. According to a person at the Dole Plantation in Hawaii, there are only three places on earth that serve the genuine Dole Whip: the Dole Plantation in Hawaii, Disney World in Florida, and Disney Land in California. I guess the Florida version is made from dehydrated and rehydrated materials, but I would swear they taste the same. I was shocked by how short the line was both times we went. This is Disneyland's best kept secret. You can find it near the Aladdin Magic Carpet ride.
