  This Latin restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The food is incredible—every dish is packed with authentic flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with fresh ingredients and care. I especially loved how rich and well-seasoned everything was, from the perfectly cooked meats to the delicious sides. You can truly taste the passion in every bite. The staff is attentive, friendly, and makes sure your experience is nothing short of amazing. If you’re looking for a place that delivers both amazing food and great vibes, this is it. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

  First time eating here and I was not impressed at all. When we arrived, no one greeted us or explained the process—we had to ask how seating worked. It’s clear the staff needs better training when it comes to welcoming and seating customers, as they were only seating one party at a time without any communication. When my husband asked about a side of rice, the waitress seemed unsure and gave a vague answer about prices instead of providing clear information. He also requested his meat well done, but it was served undercooked. My mofongo was extremely dry, the meat was overly salty, and even the piña colada was disappointing. To make matters worse, we were charged a 20% service fee without any prior notice. When we asked about it, we were simply told it was on the menu and that they don’t inform customers. That is unacceptable. Overall, this was a very poor experience. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place

  Tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa en Perico Ripiao Latin Food. Desde el momento en que entramos, el ambiente se sintió acogedor, lleno de ese sabor latino auténtico que te hace sentir como en casa. -La comida estuvo absolutamente deliciosa, fresca, llena de sabor y preparada con mucho amor. Cada bocado nos recordó a la verdadera comida casera latina. -Pero lo que realmente hizo nuestra visita aún más especial fue el excelente servicio de Dorkis. Fue sumamente amable, atenta y siempre pendiente de que estuviéramos cómodos. Su calidez y dedicación marcaron una gran diferencia. -Si buscas un lugar con comida espectacular y un servicio lleno de cariño, Perico Ripiao Latin Food es definitivamente una visita obligada. ¡Sin duda volveremos!

  We found this little slice of the Dominican on Google and am so glad we did! First, we “boarded” our table with the assistance of the friendliest hostess. Our lovely waitress aka flight attendant, Dorkis, made sure we had our drink menu boarding pass and our food menu passport. She was awesome. The music is lively, the drinks are flowing (love the buzz) and the companionship is plentiful here. We had the La Mangulina with our pollo empanadas. Delicious creamy, cheesy goodness in a crispy dough shell. The grilled chicken with peppers and onions was perfectly cooked. Still moist and oh so flavorful. I love mofungo and it did not disappoint. We also had the pernil with rice and red beans with a side of maduros. Too bad it was so good, we were too stuffed to try dessert. Guess we will have to try next time, because there will definitely be a next time!

  I had an amazing experience at this Dominican restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt lively, welcoming, and full of culture. The music, the energy, and the friendly staff made it feel like a true Dominican spot. The food was absolutely incredible. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and homemade. The rice and beans were perfectly seasoned, and the meats were cooked just right—tender, juicy, and full of authentic flavor. The mofongo was a standout, packed with garlic flavor and served hot and fresh. You can tell they put real care into every dish. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality you get. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. Overall, this place delivers real Dominican flavor and a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, delicious food.
