We visited the Margaritaville Estefan Kitchen 3-28-2026. After reading some of the reviews, being that they are wonderful, I thought long and hard about writing my review. Our experience was not a good. First, we ordered the Cuban sandwiches and were told that to the time they were not available. That definitely was not a problem. So we order 2 Frita, plus drinks. When the meal finally came there was one Frita and one Cuban sandwich, which was confusing. The server explained that she made a mistake and order a Cuban sandwich and kitchen did not kick it back. We said it was ok, no worries. Then she came with her manager, when we had not complained, so she could prove that she was not a liar to state the Cuban was not in fact available at that time. The worst part were the meals. The Frita (burger) was dry and not tasty - no seasoning. The Cuban which you can see half in the picture had a lot to be desired. Perhaps we ordered the wrong meals in order to get a good experience On top of everything else, when we got home, we realized that we got charged 20% tip. Hope this review get to the Estefans.

My husband and I always enjoyed dining at Estefan Kitchen Orlando, but we were extremely disappointed with the service and the food. Easter Sunday, we went for lunch, and it took about 5 to 10 minutes for our server to take our order. We had order the papa rellena appetizer and two Cesar salads.
The papa rellena were smaller than a golf ball, very pasty. Stuck to the roof of my mouth. Hardly any meat inside and didn’t taste that great. Most likely frozen. Not freshly made. Then we received our pathetic looking Cesar salad. Whoever prepared this salad removed all the greens and left us with the ribs of the Romain. We may have had a few green short leafs at the bottom the dish. I brought it the servers attention. She said that she mentioned to the person who prepared the salad to chop up the romaine, and their response was “they are cutting back/ cutting corners. For such a high end restaurant Cuban cuisine, and with the name “Estefan”, they should not be cutting back and have better quality food and service. Then automatically charging a 20% gratuity. Tourist trap. Never returning back

I had high expectations for Estefan Kitchen based on the reputation, and while the atmosphere and service were great, the food was extremely disappointing.
The papas rellenas weren’t even made in-house—they tasted like they came straight from a frozen batch. We ordered a steak with fries for my son, and after waiting nearly 30 minutes, our waiter came back to tell us they had run out of fries and substituted tater tots, which were overcooked.
The oxtail was by far the worst dish—overly salty to the point it was inedible, like it had been drenched in saltwater. The calamari took a long time to come out because we were told the kitchen had to drain the oil during service, which was surprising. When it finally arrived, it was rubbery with uneven breading and clearly not prepared well.
To top it all off, we left still hungry and ended up going to Taco Bell afterward—after spending $250 on dinner.
Overall, while the ambiance and staff were pleasant, the food quality did not match the price point at all. Unfortunately, I would not recommend dining here.

We LOVE Estefan Kitchen—this was our sixth visit and it never disappoints.
The food is consistently outstanding—authentic Cuban flavors, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely mouthwatering. Our waitress Paola was amazing—so attentive and kind. The entire staff treats you like family.
They were also incredibly accommodating with my egg allergy, which I truly appreciated.
The music is lively and fun—you can’t help but dance. Every visit feels like a celebration.
We always leave feeling like family and already looking forward to the next time. Highly recommend!

My family and I ate here on Saturday March 21st. I have an allergy to gluten, but I was excited to try this restaurant since they have many things listed gluten free on their menu. In fact at the bottom of the menu it shows you an icon that will be on items that are gluten free. I decided to get the gluten free chicken empanadas. The manager even came over and confirmed with us 2x that yes the kitchen will make it gluten free and it will be dusted with corn starch. The empanadas come out and I take a few bites, I knew something was off the manager comes back AGAIN and says “don’t eat that” Are you kidding?? He said they put flour mixed in with the corn to make the empanadas. THIS IS EXTREMELY UPSETTING and dangerous not only is it listed gluten free on your menu we confirmed verbally two times just to make sure. The following days I then had to suffer with a rash all over my whole body and stomach pains when I was supposed to be on vacation and going on a cruise. The manager apologized and gave compensation but my family and I did not complain to receive compensation. These menus need to be taken and updated ASAP this can harm people. If you are celiac do not go here unfortunately the environment is fun but it is not trustworthy with allergies.
