  Gave 1st order to wrong person. Next order missing fries and hot peppers. Someone cut the Italian beef sandwich in half (why?) through the paper and I had paper shards inside my sandwich. Also asked for no ice in drink and cup was full of ice. Very disappointing experience.

  Good tasting food. Beef is good, but really enjoy the burger. It has a great char with amazing flavor.

  We ordered delivery and my order was completely wrong. I ordered a beef and cheddar croissant, a small onion ring, a small side of cheese & extra gravy. The only correct item was the gravy. The croissant had no cheese, there were only 3 onion rings in the container and no side of cheese. I called the location and spoke to GM Jeff who only gave me a partial number to call so this could be addressed & then he said he wasn’t going to help me. I called back multiple times to get the number and no one would give it to me. One employee didn’t even state then name of the business when he answered, he just said, “Hello?” Then I got a female employee who refused to give me her name, who said 6 digits was all I needed for the phone number, when it’s known that 10 numbers are needed. Then she said I was disturbing other customers she couldn’t help me. I guess me being a customer doesn’t matter.

  We love stopping in portillo's for Italian beef sandwich every time we are in Orlando. The food here is always consistent and fresh. Make sure you get the hot and sweet peppers for your sandwich and get it wet. Another favourite of ours here is their chocolate cake make sure you try a slice.

  Positives. The restaurant is clean, the servers were friendly, and I like the 50s diner vibe. The fries were fresh, although they could use more seasoning. But I got the beef sandwich, and the beef was watery and the bread was soggy. I have eaten a lot of beef sandwiches in my life, and that's the first one that I didn't want to finish. Dipping the sandwich into something would be fine, but to get a sandwich that is already super soggy and wet, that's just gross. I generally like food from Chicago but a wet beef sandwich, that's a fail for me.
