  I had a very disappointing experience at Pollo Tropical. I placed an order for a whole chicken with three large sides (2 rices and French fries) and some sweet plantain bites. After paying, I sat down and waited, but my order was never called. I noticed people who ordered after me were receiving their food first. When my husband asked the cashier about our order, she initially said it wasn’t there. Even after showing the receipt, she claimed it wasn’t on the screen. Eventually, she remade the order—but even then, it was incorrect. I received only two sides, a small portion of fries instead of a large, and plantains instead of the plantain bites I ordered. The food was thrown in the bag without utensils or plates, despite my request. To make matters worse, the staff seemed disorganized. My receipt went missing, there was confusion about what I actually ordered, and it seemed like orders were being given to random customers. Overall, it was frustrating, time-consuming, and wasteful. I hope management addresses these issues, as this was not the experience I expected, especially after paying for a complete order that was never fulfilled correctly.

  I want to begin by saying I’m aware this is being published at a late hour. Typically I’d be understanding, considering the time I am ordering it is 11pm but I find this visit to be very upsetting. I had to throw the rest of the plate away. The service was okay, understanding so it’s late but there was no energy with the workers. On top of that I made sure to request no beans with my order which they proceeded to make incorrectly. I was trying to be understanding however, I found a random piece of meat maybe? It’s hard and I nearly broke my tooth due to how hard I tried to munch on it thinking it was the chiken in my meal. I am very understanding when it comes to workers and the job itself but there has to be some work put into at-least the wok that’s served even if it’s 11 at night. I could have lost my tooth being given food of this quality.

  Acabo de hacer un pedido por uber eats y la comida pesima, pedí medio pollo con arroz y frijoles, el arroz era raspa y frío y el pollo parecía paloma de lo pequeño que estaba, al igual pedí la nueva oferta de los camarones en una completa y el arroz amarillo estaba malisimo y frío las papas fritas picoteadas y frias en fin pesima la comida. Aclaro que el uber llego rápido y sin problemas

  The young lady working tonight who prepared the meals could not seem to read the order correctly. Even though we had the receipt showing exactly what was ordered, the food was still made wrong. The onions and yellow rice were left out. When I mentioned it to her, she appeared puzzled and confused. It’s frustrating when the receipt clearly shows the order, yet it’s still not prepared properly. Situations like this are unbelievable and reflect the kind of poor service that likely contributes to this location’s low ratings. Based on this experience, I would not recommend eating at this location until management addresses these issues and improves the level of service.

  We are Vegan and our experience here was great. The employees were very attentive and the manager that night was very professional. He was on top of all of our request and he made sure that our order was well taken care of.
