  My husband and I asked Gemini to recommend a restaurant that we cannot go to in Tampa where we currently live. Gemini recommended 4 Rivers Smokehouse. First of all, Gemini was a lie! There are some in Tampa. Let's start with that. It was not very busy at 2:00 on a Saturday which is a plus. The service was quick. The food was decent. I got the brisket and two sides. Not going to lie, when she gave me my brisket, the portion was so small for the amount I paid, I initially thought she was giving me a sample until they could cook my order. True story.My fried okra was not quite as crispy as I like but still okay. The cheese grits were good. I actually thought it was the cornbread at first because it was a small square and pretty dense. Very small order for the almost $20 I paid for my meal. I was wondering where th8e jalapenos were. LOL. My husband had the brisket sandwich. He said it was pretty good but his brisket was a little dry and needed salt and was very tiny. I agree with the reviews that the amount of food you get for the money you pay is definitely not worth it. I would try someplace else if you want more food for your money. Together we paid $36 for a little bit of food. Another family of four spent $85 for lunch. That seems a little high for some smoked meat and small portions of simple side dishes. Just my opinion. We won't be returning.

  Personally I don't care for jalapenos in my cornbread, but OMG the brisket, beans, and taters were fantastic! I should have stopped there but had to top it off with one of their snowballs. Yummy 😋

  A BBQ restaurant set up like a chipotle is something I’ve never seen before, and would be perfectly happy to never see again. The pulled pork had no flavor and they didn’t even have yellow sauce for my pulled pork! Who doesn’t have yellow sauce for a bbq pork sandwich. I also learned to never trust BBQ from a place in a strip mall next to a bjs. I haven’t a damn clue why this place is rated so damn high, though it might be that my expectations were to high expecting the pork to be like it is back in SC

  Never been to a barbeque place that had ran out of Cole Slaw, Okra. Had to pay for bread if you wanted any. Could have done lot better at Sonny's for the price and would have had better atmosphere. Didn't realize that it was a Fast Food eatery. One and done.

  "I visited this restaurant and the place was dirty. The women serving the food was touching her hair, nose and face. She was handling a dirty marker, and then touching the food. I spoke with the manager, and she told me she would talk to the servers, but she never actually did. It’s disgusting. They touch their hair, their clothes, and their faces, and then put their hands in the food. Be careful so you don’t get sick. I’m never coming back; this is the second time I’ve been here and the same thing happened. They are nasty people working in this restaurant.
