Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- LLLuis Lizarazo5 days ago3.0I’ve been to Whataburger a few times and overall it’s a solid fast food experience. The restaurant is always clean, and the atmosphere is nice and comfortable compared to a lot of other fast food places. The staff has been consistently friendly and helpful, and service is usually quick and smooth even when they’re busy. That said, the food is definitely on the heavier, more indulgent side. Everything tastes good, but it’s the kind of place I don’t visit too often because I try to stay mindful of my health and what I’m eating. Overall, it’s a clean, well-run location with great service and a good atmosphere—just more of an occasional treat rather than a regular stop for me.

I keep them and pack picnic lunches for when we visit the beach or the nearby State Forests etc. The place has always been very clean when we go in. Service is just okay. Competent but not very friendly.
