However, the overall experience and meal was a disappointment. Initially we planned to dine at Ruth Chris, but when we learned that Morton's was connected to our hotel we canceled Ruth Chris and switched to Morton's. We have fond memories of our previous visits to Morton's (elsewhere) and our party of three was looking forward to an evening dinner at Morton's in Jacksonville Fl. on Saturday April 4 (Easter eve). In anticipation of a great, properly cooked steak, I brought a bottle of Stag's Leap Artemis to compliment it. But I never really got the chance. We each ordered the petite filet mignon, medium rare; but, what we were served was medium RAW. Our server had the three filets returned to the kitchen promptly, apparently to cook longer, and the same filets were returned to us. Two of the three were OK, the third, mine, was not. The excellent server removed the cost of my steak (right thing to do) but it doesn't change the experience and my excellent wine was shared with the mashed potatoes and bread. Usually, when we leave dinner from a Ruth Chris, Capital Grill, or similar, we look forward to retuning. When leaving from Morton's, I was looking forward to breakfast.

The lobster bisque was the best over ever had ever and it was sooooooo good that I'll probably never order from anywhere else. Davis the manager was super attentive and made the evening issues correct. I had 2 hostesses however 1 was standout and unfortunately I don't remember her name but she was so awesome!!! Thank you David and the team at Mortons
