  We booked a party for my 11 year old’s birthday party. We heard great things about Main Event so we figured we would give them a try. I wish we had not. It was not worth a single penny of the money we paid. Upon arrival there was no greeting, no indication of where to set up for the party and there was a single worker at the counter playing on her phone. When we finally did manage to get our party host, she took forever to do anything. It was 45 minutes into our hour bowling before she took our drink order and it took her 4 separate times to get all the drinks correct. After our bowling, we were placed at a table with pizza and left to our own devices. The ‘host’ did not refill drinks and ignored us until we asked for refills. After we managed to play one game of laser tag and the laser tag equipment did not work for most of us. We stood around the laser tag room attempting to fix our equipment. When we finally managed to go play games, half of the games weren’t working. We went to redeem our tickets, the prize counter worker was rude and there was a single worker on a Saturday filled with tons of kids. All in all, the host was useless, we were very rushed through the entire process and half their stuff was broken. We won’t be returning. $500 wasted. Do not recommend.

  Me and my family went bowling and it was extremely hot which is understandable due to all the people, the issue is we were here for an hour and during our entire stay we never had a server come up to ask us for our order, not even water. My Fianceé went up and asked for a waiter which then he was told someone would be sent and yet nobody came. Everyone around us was being attended yet nobody ever came to us. Extremely upsetting.

  Probably a great spot. Just not a fan of their customer service and late night policy. They did not answer the phone call for 5 minutes. Made me waste 40 minutes of driving to be told at 10:45pm that they do not sell bowling lanes for the night, even though they close at 12am. There was no written policy presented on the pricing or at the front desk. Maybe another day they can answer the phones.

  I gave them 3 stars. Here's my reason. Everyone was really nice except the guy in Laser tag on 4/7/26 .. Short guy buzz cut. Didn't get his name but how could you he was talking to someone on his phone or something. My husband tried asking him a question and he continued to talk on his phone. Said to the the person he was talking to first we had to deal with that event now I have to deal with all these people.. Um yeah it's raining that's why we are here.. So you might want to retrain your people and tell them to stay off their phone. Other than that we had a great time..

  Very unprofessional establishment. We order drinks and were asked for ID and the server refused and manager also refused as they said US passport is required. We had family visiting from overseas. At the same time saw people bring drinks from outside and vaping and when confronted they said and didn’t nothing about it. We were there to support a local business and they discriminated while others were bringing drinks and vapes from outside. So I would recommend next time to bring and hide drinks and don’t be supporting to business like this. To be honest Jacksonville needs a better place for bowling which is more professional. The server Shaud Very professional poor guy tried to help us but management is not smart at all. Dumb people being business owners.
