Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
What is it with this pull into a parking spot and parking and wait for your food thing that all these fast food restaurants are starting to do?
This is now the Third time I’ve been to this location. Each time was about seven or 8 PM during the week. It wasn’t busy inside or outside. There was nobody behind me and yet I was asked to park.
If I wanted to park and wait, I would’ve went inside and ordered.
The crazy part is, I didn’t even order anything out of the ordinary, just a meal and a shake.
For the price we pay now for fast food and the time we have to wait you might as well go to a sit down restaurant and at least get better quality food.

This Whataburger has gotta be one of the best ones in Jacksonville. The service is phenomenal. The food is always fresh. I highly recommend coming to this one. Especially The manager Mara, She's amazing. She made my experience one of the best at Whataburger..

New location on 103rd is refreshing to other businesses in the area. Same amazing Whataburger menu and I adored getting the fall cup!
Service was a bit slow but my guess understaffed and new location takes some time to get into the grove. Service was of course friendly, bright, and got our order right! Which for 103rd is a good mark of excellence.

With this location being so close to the Normandy and Blanding location you would think they would be just as good but this location is like a prison. You walk in and nobody even wants to look at you or acknowledge that you are there. Then when one person accidentally makes eye contact with you they look annoyed that they have to take your order. Then my food sat in the heater area right behind the counter for 17 minutes until I asked if that was my order and the lady rolled her eyes and grabbed it and handed it to me like I was annoying her. Keep in mind this entire time I was the only customer in the building. I hate to say it but the reason why this newer location is never busy is the employees. I live 1.7 miles from here and would rather drive to the Normandy location because I can get there and back before this one even hands me my food.
