Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Lavonda who is the operating partner was working the front counter- and I just have to say she was amazing!!! I would go back just for her service! Seriously, I don't think anyone can beat her level of service.

On a good day, I’ll get the order real quick but on any other given day, I wait about 15 mins to receive the order I have to deliver. - SSStevenJan 31, 20262.0Bad Food, Slow Service My spouse and I have been trying to find a good burger in Mandarin. WhatABurger is not one. We first went the week it opened and they were working through their system. We saw three orders, including ours, being given to the wrong customers. The food was, ofcourse, substandard but, they deserved another chance after they got themselves sorted. We tried again and arrived around seven one night and were the only ones there. Still our food took almost twenty minutes to prepare. When we got it home we found the fries were only half full (Photo included). The burger meat was unseasoned and grisly and the tomatoes mushy and paper thin. Don't bother with WhatABurger, they set the bar low. Finally, I gave them three stars for service because our cashier Analisa, was terrific.
