Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The rest of food looks like it was thrown at the wall and the wrapped. My goodness, would it be asking too much to take some damn pride in your work?!

Any other fast food joint on this side of town would’ve tried to fight me if I showed up past midnight with that much food to order. Hopefully this doesn’t go too far downhill
- EEErinDec 24, 20255.0I have been to this Whataburger three times in the past two days 🙃 I got a Whataburger Junior meal and a patty melt meal, both with fries and a breakfast on a bun meal. Everything was accurate and really good and fresh except once the fries could’ve been a little fresher. Other than that, it’s a great location, great staff and great food.

Each meal we asked for, we were asked multiple times if we wanted a meal. Why don't they come in smalls? Not sure. Who develops a restaurant with only 1 restroom for each gender? It was big enough for 2 stalls at least... but I had to listen to the poor employee fight for her life flushing the toilet while I waited my turn after being on the road 3 hours.
