My daughter and I decided to try out a new spot. Our server Lauren did an awesome job. She made us feel as though we were the only customers. Kudos to her.
I had the Alaskan Arnold with hash brown casserole paired with Darjeeling Black tea.
My daughter had the brisket tacos with cheese grits which she paired with Arnies Berry Bolt energizer.
It was like a party in my mouth. The food was so flavorful, atmosphere relaxed and the service exceptional.
Definitely recommend you try it out if you haven't. We will definitely make a return trip.

I saw The Toasted Yolk Cafe advertised in a digital billboard in Jacksonville. We decided to give it a try on a Sunday morning. Great friendly service. The food was delicious hot and flavorful. We will definitely be going back!

This was unfortunately one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in quite some time. Despite having a reservation we were initially directed to an extremely small 2 top table that was not suitable for a full meal. After addressing this we were seated in the far back corner of the restaurant where the booth seat had visible milk spilled across it that had not been cleaned. For a restaurant operating at this price point, basic cleanliness should be non 🤦🏻♀️negotiable. Service was slow from the start. It took approximately ten minutes before our server acknowledged our table, even though the restaurant was fully staffed. While I understand a busy environment, there was a clear lack of attentiveness and communication.
The food quality was unacceptable. I ordered the breakfast burrito which was poorly executed in every aspect. The queso was clearly not house-made, the salsa tasted more like marinara sauce than a breakfast accompaniment, and the overall dish was watery and unbalanced. I requested sliced tomato, yet cherry tomatoes were added directly into the burrito without clarification, completely compromising the texture and flavor.
My boyfriend’s meal was equally disappointing. The eggs had an odd, unpleasant taste and appeared to be improperly prepared. They were placed directly on top of the biscuits and gravy with no browning, seasoning, or presentation as if assembled with no care or culinary standard.
Given the cost of the meal, the lack of cleanliness attention to detail and basic food quality is unacceptable. This restaurant appears to rely on volume and appearance rather than execution. We will not be returning, and I would not recommend it based on our experience.

Our visit to this location was disappointing. We started off by asking for 4 waters, and there were only two brought out. We asked to order a coldbrew and we had to ask our server yet again to bring out two more waters. When we were ordering our servers demeanor was very off. It was obvious that he was not excited to be at work and his service showed that. When our food arrived the manager came over and told us last minute that one of the orders wouldn’t be able to be completed because they had no rice left. We asked if we could substitute the rice for more quinoa and the manager said they could. When the bowl came over there was only the regular portion of quinoa and it was obvious they did not add more to make up for the missing rice. The sides were also missing. When we asked if there were supposed to be pico and guacamole our server said yes its supposed to be on the side and went to go get it. He came back over and only brought the pico and said “ oh right guacamole” it took him awhile to bring the guacamole over and the eggs and everything had already gotten cold. When he finally brought the guacamole over he sat it down and did not apologize and mumbled “ better late than never” under his breath. It should also be noted that the manager did not bring the new bowl over himself and had a runner do it. I think this whole situation was very mishandled. The manager only came back over after we were completely done and not when the new bowl came out like he should have. He asked how everything was and we answered that we were unsatisfied and he answered as if he did not care. There was no “ what can we do to make this better?”. I have worked in the food industry and the correct approach to this problem would to have been to comp the bowl all together, but of course that was not done. For a $100 meal for 4 people the service should be better. There is a Toasted Yolk in Fleming Island where we usually go and we have never had a problem there.
