Great breakfast spot on Baymeadows! The food was really good and came out quickly. I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla, which was flavorful and filling, and my sister had the Two Eggs Breakfast with bacon and a buttermilk biscuit — classic and perfectly cooked.
Coffee was served right away, and the service overall was fast and attentive. We also appreciated that they offer both high chairs and booster seats for kids, which makes dining with little ones much easier, especially in booths. We ordered juice and bacon for the baby, and everything arrived promptly.
Overall, a pleasant experience with tasty food, quick service, and very family-friendly accommodations. Would definitely come back!

This new Jax brunch spot is an excellent addition to the 904. With three locations in the area, their hospitality, wide variety of health conscious yet delicious breakfast and lunch options and beachy vibe; you should start driving now and thank me later.
Kaitlyn was our server, and she knocked it out of the park. Fast, attentive and knowledgeable of the restaurant, she made the experience even better.
The Toasted Yolk is the new Jax staple that you MUST try.
This was our first time eating at the Toasted Yolk. We went to the location on Baymeadows Rd in Jacksonville. I wish I could say it was a pleasant experience, but it wasn't. The greeter was welcoming and the server was nice but inexperienced. We ordered coffee and had to ask for a spoon as there was no silverware at the table when he brought it. One of us ordered shrimp and grits and the other ordered a breakfast meal. When the food was brought, the shrimp was cold. The breakfast meal was nice and hot. The server asked if everything was okay and we explained that the shrimp was cold. He asked if we wanted a discount, re-do the meal, or take it off the ticket. We asked them to re-do the shrimp and grits meal. By the time I finished my meal they still had not returned with the shrimp and grits. I'm a very slow eater so there's no reason for them to not have replaced the shrimp and grits by this time. At this point we just asked them to take his meal off the ticket, which they did. We went shopping afterwards and I started having stomach issues and had to visit the bathroom. So, we don't plan to go back. I was really hoping to add this place to one of my go to restaurants. I'm just glad we hadn't taken friends there to try it out.

This is my third visit here for a weekday morning breakfast. The place is never very busy at that time except for a group of law enforcement officers and city workers. I find the food to be good and to be the appropriate amount for the price. The service, I feel could be a little more prompt with the amount of time it takes for the food to arrive, but it’s not the fault of the waitstaff. It may be logistics in the back of house that cause the delay. My server,Liz has the kindest soul and was very attentive. I hope to sit in her station the next time I come.

It's unfortunate this place could not produce what they offer. Went sunday for brunch and tried to order a caramel macchiato and was told they were out of milk which cancels out anything made with it... Really? ok we will still give this a try anyway and just ordered... came back and said they were also out of chicken which made a few of us reorder. Disappointed and really considering staying, we decided to order breakfast just to try it out. Just par, nothing great. Even trying a signature dish of french toast seemed like eating a piece of toast with some jelly and cooked peach. Both the regular french toast and signature hardly tasted if any like any egg was used to make a french toast. Grits were jelled consistency instead of being hot. Got cheese on it that it couldn't melt to make cheese grits. Ordered chocolate chip pancakes and a breakfast burrito and none of the teenagers were happy with their meals and couldn't finish it. Very disappointing for us 6 people experience with a charge over $100. Won't try it again. Sorry
