Second time at this location and a very poor product and service. The person making the sandwich is very careless and sloppy on putting together a 6 in BMT that almost cost 10 dollars. She made no effort to make the sandwich with any quality or care. 2 visits two bad experiences, not going to this location anymore.

One of the worst subway experiences I've ever had. Ate here 10-31-2025. The young man working behind the counter appeared to be "overly stimulated". He was extremely chatty and unable to focus on anything. He made me the messiest sandwich and continued to apologize the entire time while talking about his girlfriend's hospital emergency. The tables were gross, the ingredients were gross, and I ended up throwing most of it away.

I love this Subway. The workers are sociable and efficient. They tend to be out of stuff later in the week (they resupply on Tuesdays, apparently) and I like hanging out here so there's a genuine concern that I'm the reason they were out of Pepsi this week. Sorry lol Not a whole lot of seating, but it's very comfortable. It gets a bit messy because the workers tend to be busy, but nothing I'd consider outrageous. + The decoration is pleasant to the eye. This Subway tends to be pretty cold (very good for me, as the Guy Who Likes Being Cold), which may not be for everyone, but is spectacular when you've been dealing with Florida heat (agony). Getting food here tends to be expensive unless you get the Meal of the Day. The Chicken Bacon Ranch is especially yummy

So I have been going to this Subway since I moved to Jacksonville in 2020. Not sure when it opened but over the last 6 months or so I would say things have changed for the worst. The staff is rude, constantly on their phones and cursing. Half the time items are out of stock or the veggies for the sandwiches are not fresh. But today was the last straw for me with this establishment. I went in with my daughter to get foot long sandwiches and we were going to upsize to the meal deals. When we walked in the young man said he was on break and we needed to wait for the other person. Not a problem we weren’t in a hurry. When she eventually came out of the back it was immediately like she was trying to rush us. I wanted the herb bread and my daughter wanted the regular Italian. We asked for the darkest bread they had…most looked very under cooked. When I pointed to a different rack of bread that looked better she insisted she couldn’t use those because they hadn’t cooled. Ok, no problem we went with the other bread and asked her to toast them. She wanted to know what she could put on it and I said please toast them first but we are having tuna and ham and cheese. She put them in to toast and then started talking to the gentleman behind us to see what she could get started for him. She was adjusting her hat and pushing her hair back while talking to him and still wearing the food service gloves. Then the timer on the toaster went off and she came back to me pulling the bread out and removing it from the tray. I asked her to change her gloves which she did. Then we started to actually go through the order of what we wanted on the sandwiches. She asked if I wanted them toasted again after the meat and cheese and I said yes for mine. Then she asked if we were making them meals and I also said yes. So she went to the register and started typing it in still with the food prep gloves on. When she moved back over to add the toppings on the sandwiches I asked her to please change her gloves again. She rolled her eyes as she did it and mumbled under her breath about not being to as she hadn’t touched anything then asked what else I would like. She started to prep the sandwiches to be wrapped and the young man came out and asked how he could help. She in a very rude manner said I’m just trying to get these done and get this woman out of hear. I said, I would like to be treated nicely as a customer. She then threw the knife down on the counter, slammed her hands down and yelled that he could help me and that she has to much to do and she wasn’t wasting her time on me. The young many said sorry and that he would finish. I told him no…just throw the food out and give me the name and phone number of the owner. At this point the woman came out of the back still yelling and I raised my voice, admittedly, but not to the point of yelling, that I wanted her name and the number of the owner and their name. As she continued to yell at me I told her that I have been coming there for years and have never had a problem or been so disrespected. She still wasn’t giving me the information I asked for. She yelled, it’s on the front door you figure it out. So I walked out and looked at the door. The only thing it said was locally owned and operated. So of course I went back inside and asked again. At which the young man behind the counter asked me to come outside and gave me a phone number and name. I called twice and no one answered and it didn’t allow me to leave a voicemail. So still can’t get in touch with the owner. But we went to the Subway on Merrill Rd. and had a much better experience.
