  We ate here on January 3, 2026 and ordered the lamb burger. The lamb burger was good, and I usually have a delicious meal. However, my friend's Cuban sandwich was seriously lacking. It was missing the ham, and the beef was very thin — I could barely call it a sandwich. My concern was it was missing the meat that we are normally used to. If they were out of ham, they could have atleast mentioned it and/or added more beef to make up the missing ham. We were disappointed because we had been going here for at least 20 years. I just hope that this was an isolated issue because the meal was $20.00 which is not cheap for a "sandwich". I rated a two (2) for the Cuban sandwich only because it was lacking the meat that it normally comes with. I rated a two (2) for the service only because they never mentioned to us that they had an app and could gain rewards. I only found out about it after I checked the website after we left. That makes me wonder about the amount of rewards that we could have accumulated over the years. Mentioning this is just good business sense and promotes customer loyalty. Otherwise, the staff were welcoming. I rated the atmosphere a three (3) only because I was neither satisfied or unsatisfied. There was nothing worthy of noting. The experience does leave a poor taste in my mouth, but we will give them another try with the hope that the next experience compensates for this one.

  I’ve been going to Pine Grove for more than 35 years to buy steaks. There’s not a meat market in Jacksonville that comes close to the quality and nowhere else you can buy aged steaks like them! If you go for lunch, get the lamb burger! There’s nothing like it anywhere in the world!

  First off used to be fantastic 80s 90s.even up to 2000.Drove by to see and get some killer food.Was disappointed to say the least.The art work wall is very confusing and all over the place.Plus you got tables mashed up to the wall if you were trying to read you would be standing over people trying to eat.No prices so you order then $20 bucks plus a $3 tip for take out.Paddy melt and broccoli? Broccoli I asked to be double steamed? Was not. Burger pattie had ten pounds of seasoning dumped on it and between it and the bread you could have greased the road out front.No butter for un double steamed broccoli no utensils no napkins.May have been talking to someone in there that offended them or something? Guilty by association? In any event I got crap food! Will try again next year maybe? Damon NAS-Jax
