We dine at Morton’s Steakhouse often for all of our special occasions, and today we were there celebrating my husband’s birthday. While we’ve had many great servers over the years, **Lew is hands down our favorite**. Lew provided exceptional service — warm, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. He made my husband feel truly celebrated and ensured everything was perfect from start to finish. His professionalism and genuine care really set him apart. Morton’s has always been special to us, and servers like Lew are the reason we keep coming back. Highly recommend asking for him!

Our experience at Morton’s was beyond disappointing. From the wait staff and manager (maybe? He didn’t say anything to us, just collected the food) to the food being cold and inedible. We only didn’t say anything at the time of our visit because we all felt so uncomfortable with the staff and just wanted to leave. The meal was too expensive for the steak, salmon, and lobster tail to be cold. We couldn’t even cut through the steak. The server seemed annoyed if we asked for anything else, so we just sat and tried to power through our meal and leave. We are so upset with this experience and will let others know to avoid this place at all costs.

From the moment we stepped into Morton’s in the Seaport, the experience was nothing short of outstanding, and a huge part of that was thanks to Lew. His warm welcome set the tone for the evening—he personally greeted us, ensured everything was perfect, and even checked in during our meal to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Lew’s attention to detail, genuine hospitality, and leadership were evident throughout. The service team was impeccably attentive and knowledgeable, clearly reflecting his high standards. Our steaks were cooked to absolute perfection, the sides were delicious, and the overall ambiance was elegant and inviting. Lew truly went above and beyond to make our dinner memorable—he exemplifies what exceptional service in a fine steakhouse should be. We’ll be back soon, and we highly recommend asking for his section or just knowing he’s running the show. Thank you, Lew, for an unforgettable evening! Morton’s is lucky to have you.

It was our first time at Morton's and will most likely be our last. The food OK with the standouts being the the oysters - both raw and Rockefeller - and the desert. We've had better steaks, sides, and seafood at other restaurants in Jacksonville at much lower prices. Restaurant management did not enforce the dress code which explicitly prohibits hoodies and tank tops, but both could be seen on patrons at the bar to the left of the entrance off the hotel lobby. My husband had to return sweet tea 3 times in a row - he only drinks unsweet tea. Our server was pleasant, but it seemed her main focus was on upselling food - once it was served, she was nowhere to be found. As a whole, the dining experience was not worth the nearly $400 tab.

Just an FYI, good food and high prices don’t always go together and this is one of those restaurants. We got $150 steak that apparently two people could eat but the top 2030% of it was a big piece of fat. The rest of the meat was kind of a little bit chewy it’s definitely not expensive steak house. The seasoning was OK I’ve had far better. My son got the french fries with Parmesan cheese on them and the Parmesan wasn’t melted and the french fries were really thin and flavorless. He didn’t even eat them really which tells you something because he’s an 18-year-old boy. I got the spinach with the button mushrooms and it came in a pond water which should’ve been a buttery water if any water at all was present. It literally looked like dirt water. The spinach was cooked well but zero flavoring. I ate a little bit of it. I got a lobster tail. It was so dry and so I am seasoned improperly over seasoned. I couldn’t eat it. For $25 that should’ve been a rockin lobster tail. The waitress didn’t even ask us why we didn’t eat the lobster tail and I didn’t even bother to say anything because it’s the kind of place that they really don’t care what you think. They’re turning and burning and making big money serving mediocre food. $360 later I will never eat there again.
