  Was told my 7 year old was too short for laser tag ( even tho I know he's 50 inches from the Dr.) But talked to a manager Keana who was amazing, measured him said it was ok and he got to play! She also got him an ice cream for his bday and really made it special for him. Half the games didnt work and took the points but Keana made the experience great along with Nesha at the front desk who was amazing with my kid!

  Very disappointing experience, mostly because of the front desk staff. The front desk employee, especially the girl who always works at the left counter, was extremely rude, not friendly at all, and not helpful in any way. We came for bowling at 2:45 pm and I had a reservation for 3:00 pm. She simply said “come back at 3” with no explanation or basic courtesy. I was not expecting to be let in immediately, I understand there is a process with shoes, but the attitude was unnecessary and unprofessional. The shoe situation was a complete mess. We were there as a family, my husband, myself, and two kids. They did not have size 13 bowling shoes for the kids and the excuse was that a lot of people had arrived. We were told to try size 12. The kids tried them and at first thought they might be okay, but after taking a few steps it was obvious they were too small. My daughter eventually got a larger size and those were fine. For my son, they had no solution and actually offered him two left shoes, which felt insulting, like they were making fun of us. I asked for a manager because I paid $100 in advance for this reservation and suddenly there were no shoes for everyone, and kids were not allowed to bowl in their own shoes. Then, after that, when my husband asked if our son could bowl in his own shoes since we were given no options, they said yes. Completely inconsistent and unorganized. No one ever came to check on us or offer drinks or food. My husband had to leave the lane during the game to get everything himself. The pins also got stuck twice during our game. The only positive thing I can say is about one employee, a very kind and helpful young man wearing a black shirt. Unfortunately, I do not know his name, but he was the only one who showed professionalism and kindness. It is a shame because the place itself is fun and has a lot of potential, but the front desk staff is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. Big zero for the front desk.

  We celebrated my granddaughter's birthday at Main Event Jacksonville, and it couldn't have been better. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive. Our party host took care of every detail, allowing the adults to enjoy themselves just as much as the kids. The food arrived on time and hot, and the kids had a blast with the bowling and video games. Seeing my granddaughter's smile was worth every penny! Highly recommended for families.

  Decent food and lots of arcade games. We did not bowl and no one in our party was tall enough for the laser tag so I am not sure about those things. The party service was sub-par at best. We had 10 kids and got the choose your own experience but obviously we chose games as the experience. We did not recieve the extra game cards initially and had to ask. Our server was absent most of the time but we had enough adults to help with everything anyway. One of the bathrooms was about 50 degrees which felt like a walk in cooler as soon as you walk through the door. Papertowels were absent in the second bathroom with napkins ontop instead. The soda was all flat. However, the pizza was tasty, the games were fun, and overall everyone had a good time but I do not think we will be returning for a party due to the cramped space and lack of helpful service

  Main event would be a cool place to come and allow the children to get there game card and proceed to have fun, but my main issue with this location is while playing the games I encountered serval and I mean serval of the machines that when i would swipe my game card, the machine would take the credit off the card but the game machine wouldn't work, having to constantly seek someone for assistance was a bit much, but mostly aggravating and when they would come and realize the machine was not working they would place the credits back on the card, but never put an out of service on the machines until it was fixed, I had stop serval children that were getting ready to play the game to let them know the machine wasn't working. Children playing these machines, would swipe their game card and if nothing happens, they would just run off to another machine, not realizing the credits was removed from their game card already. I gave 2 stars because out of this problem, the staff was very professional when assisting me with each issue. I just feel if someone comes to your place of business and honor your prices at least you make sure to give them what they paid for, please do better.
