    Me and my wife went here on date night. The experience was truly amazing! The atmosphere and the aroma of the food being made was awe inspiring. We were greeted and seated and waited on by Miguel he was attentive and made us feel like we were regulars and offered us suggestions on meals and drinks. We ordered the Cuban Calamari and it was full of flavor and the sauce was a great complement to the dish. We had ordered drinks and they were marvelous . When the food had arrived we were both shocked at the portion sizes! We both had enough for another meal and to end the meal we both order Cuban coffee and it was superb made by a true craftsman. To be honest the whole place and especially Miguel will have us be coming back.

    A rich, flavorful meal full of Cuba favorites. You really can’t go wrong with any place. The BYO bowls are also a nice option and a little bit smaller. The flan had that perfect burnt caramel texture and flavor. And our waiter Miguel was very kind and attentive. Miguel es muy amable y agradable!

    We have been coming here for the past 20+ years and brought our friends tonight for the first time and they Loved it as much as we always have! Wonderful meal as always and Great service. Never disappoints, Always Love supporting our local businesses!

    I’ve been going to Havana Jax for about 20 years now. Always get the same thing bistec empanizado. Always top notch. Amazing rice, amazing beans, amazing tostones. That’s just the food aspect. The service has and still is top notch with Miguel. He is probably one of the best servers in Jacksonville. Funny, attentive, fast. I live out in California now but I still yearn for this place and come back every chance when visiting family.
