  Charley’s Cheesesteaks presents itself as a modern, fast-casual take on a classic, and my first visit was met with a mix of promise and mild confusion. The interior is notably open, almost cavernous, with a floor plan that leaves little to the imagination. During my visit, what appeared to be upper management held a small conference at a rear lobby table—an odd visual that momentarily blurred the line between customer space and corporate workspace. Service was friendly but rushed. The cashier, a polite young man, spoke quickly—too quickly for a first-time customer navigating an unfamiliar menu. The ordering process felt overwhelming, with multiple options and add-ons presented in rapid succession, making it easy to miss key details. I ordered the basic cheesesteak (the exact name escaped me), only to discover after the fact that lettuce and tomatoes had been added. I later realized this was what the cashier had asked me about at the counter. For the record, lettuce and tomatoes have no business on a traditional cheesesteak—certainly not a “standard” one—and their inclusion came as an unwelcome surprise. The sandwich itself was well-sized for the price and arrived quickly, despite the restaurant being far from busy. Fries were acceptable but unremarkable. Execution overall was competent, if not memorable. The location is another weak point. While it offers easy access in and out, the parking lot is poorly organized, with ill-defined spaces that make parking more chaotic than it needs to be. Charley’s delivers speed, portion value, and a clean environment, but it could benefit from clearer menu guidance, better communication at the counter, and a stronger commitment to what constitutes a proper cheesesteak. With a few adjustments, the experience could match the ambition of the brand.

  It was my first time eating at this place. My order ID: AC24VNFCACAT; Dine In: #28, the French fries 🍟 was garbage, I threw them away. I didn't inform the manager, the boneless wings (Thai Chili) had good taste.

  Ummm... 🤷🏾‍♀️ There's opportunity for improvement. First and last visit. The service was impatient, the food's mediocre, and they didn't put any ranch. The ranch does not come with the wings,and has an upcharge, which I've never heard of. In my opinion, no competition for the Philly cheese steak & wings places in the area.
