I went into cava for the first time yesterday and had an amazing experience. Justin, John and Benji were so kind and friendly, I expressed I was having a rough day and Justin was sweet enough to cover my meal. (: I will absolutely be going back, amazing food and service! 😭

Justin cleared his throat over the food then wiped his nose with his food service gloves. When I asked for a manager to complain, he was the manager 😓. He stated he was sorry he had something deep in his throat. Like bruh!
I was throughly disgusted 🤮 He offered to buy me my next bowl but there was no coming back from that.

I’ve had multiple bad experiences at this place and last night was just annoying. Usually I order through the app and pick it up, but I was in the area and figured I could go through the line because they are ALWAYS slow with pick up online orders. The workers never acknowledge that you’re waiting for an order and it’s ALWAYS late. Anyways, I went through the line and was made uncomfortable because it seemed like every girl working didn’t know how to react or like that I was asking questions. The first girl who asked what I wanted was deadpanned the whole interaction with me, but when a male employee came up to her, she started giggling and joking with him, which actually caused her to not hear what I wanted to order (I was getting three things) and when she remembered a customer was ordering from her she went flat again and asked me to repeat myself. The girl who was assembling the order at the end seemed irritated at every item I asked to be put on my bowl and wraps and sighed heavily when I asked for sauce after she had already put the bowl down at the register. Then I had a question about the app and scanning the QR code to get points and the girl at the register gave me the blankest stare as if I had just asked the dumbest question she had ever heard. No smiles from anyone working. No welcome in or anything. The CAVA down south is my go to because this location absolutely sucks. The other location is so friendly and welcoming and overall has a WAY better atmosphere than this location which is why I stopped coming here or avoid coming here if I can. Oh, and this was a to go order so as I was grabbing the bag from the pick up shelves to bag my own order, the girl at the register gave me the most annoyed look because apparently I took too long to bag my own to go order. As usual, the pick up shelves and drink station was unkept and dirty looking. Avoid this location if you can and go to the one off Old St. Augustine Road if you can. Their employees are so much nicer and it’s always clean and orderly when I have gone there.
I’ve had good experiences here in the past but today was not good. I placed 2 to-go pickup orders that were supposed to be ready at 12:45. I got there at 12:45 and ended up having to wait an additional 20 minutes for 3 bowls. Got home and the pitas I ordered are missing. Also, the portion sizes are the smallest I’ve ever seen for this location. The lady at the counter was nice, but overall the experience today was not satisfactory.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews for places but no lie I’ve never seen a handful of employees so sluggish.
I ordered online for pick up at 4:45 PM, got here at 4:50 and after standing next to the pickup rack for 10 minutes, someone finally came and asked the name for my order. I told her Amy, she asked me Uber or DoorDash, I said neither, it’s a to-go order for myself.
I noticed 3 bags sitting up in the kitchen window but obviously I don’t work here so I didn’t want to ask her to check.
10 more minutes go by, she asked me again what the name for my order was. I told her Amy, and she checks the bags in the window and grabs the first bag on the windowsill that had been sitting up there the past 20 minutes while I just stood there waiting for my food.
I said “wait it’s been sitting up there the whole time? I’ve been standing here for 20 minutes” and she just ignored me and walked away. She didn’t apologize for the inconvenience, they didn’t offer to re-make the food so it was at least warm, they just literally didn’t care and I’m not going to ask them to remake my food because I don’t want to piss them off. The staff in here just has some nasty energy to be honest. Nobody was moving around at a normal pace, they literally looked like they were moving in slow motion. I’m a foodservice employee bro I understand when stuff happens but the staff here really are just plain lazy and that’s it
