We had a great experience. The food was fresh and delicious.
They offer halal options, which is a big plus, and it was nice to see some Turkish-style items on the menu. We especially loved the pistachio baklava and the homemade cheesecake.
Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Wow, so happy I found Celeno’s Bistro! 🇮🇹 The Italian food is amazing. I especially love the calzone. They also have Turkish dishes, and the lahmacun is honestly the best in town. First time trying patlıcan kebabı here and I loved it! And the fıstıklı pide… wow, it reminded me of katmer. Perfect with Turkish tea. Highly recommend!!!

I wanted to love this place cause it’s so close to my house but it was a flop. First, the red sauce tasted like fumes. Possibly from overheating. The garlic knots had no flavor and were hard. They gave me hoagie bread that was buttered but not toasted. I purchased spaghetti and meatballs and a side of the Italian sausage but was sent two pasta dishes. Overall just bad. I didn’t finish my food.

We had a fabulous experience here in every way. After searching for some really good authentic Italian food, we were so happy to have found it at Celino's!! The owners were so gracious and also gave us a sampling of many Mediterranean delights to-come!! Everyone ordered something different, not to mention the fabulous buffet, and we were all so stuffed and happy, that we asked the chef to come out for a round of applause! Fantastic find!!

NOT ITALIAN ANY LONGER!
Went in for the buffet (as we have been doing for several months now across several visits.) Should’ve walked out once the vibe felt off, honestly. VERY runny sauce, pizza wasn’t good, and we didn’t get salad when every other table did before and after us. Came in hungry, left hungry. It was no longer good or satisfying, do not believe the pictures you see, they are no longer true to the Italian cuisine they used to represent. Nothing Italian about this place any longer since this new ownership. No liquor anymore, assuming it is the same reason to use Halal ingredients. Halal meat is fine, but don’t call it Italian when it isn’t any longer.
If I wanted middle eastern or Mediterranean, I would’ve gone elsewhere. The chefs are the same, but the direction is completely different. Desired the past quality, but instead got extremely watered down sauce that splashed on my clothes. It was either that or chickpeas. I came for Italian, left utterly disappointed to never come back and see the wonderful Greek waiter again. Very cold. Whitewashed, and ran out of the little selection of food they had with only handful of tables occupied.
Vibe was extremely off, it no longer felt like the warm Italian experience my wife craves from her heritage back home. Completely and utterly disappointed, as this was a favorite in Jacksonville that we can no longer enjoy or recommend. Unfortunately the art of true Italian cooking is dying in the restaurant community. Declined to be brought the desert, just wanted to leave.
PLEASE change your sign from Italian, which it is no longer. True Italian has pork, and definitely not tomato water for “sauce”.
