  Had an awesome experience at Talkin’ Tacos in Jacksonville! Huge shoutout to the manager, Spud, for providing such great service. He was incredibly courteous, professional, and made sure everything was perfect during my visit. The food was absolutely delicious, and the whole atmosphere was welcoming and well-run. You can tell Spud really cares about the customers and the quality of the experience. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

  We walked in and they were so friendly from the start. We told them we haven’t been here before and they walked us through everything. There’s a tablet to order with pictures of everything which helped so much with picking what I wanted! Once we got the food, they made sure we had everything we needed. Spud specifically made sure of it. The food was amazing also! Overall great spot!

  Today was our first visit and everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. Service was fast and staff were so kind and helpful. It was busy between families coming in and to go orders going out and the staff were so fast with getting everyone served and making sure drinks stayed filled. Great job and thank you again for fabulous service.

  I had such a great experience at Talking Tacos! From the moment you walk in, the seating area gives off such a fun, energetic vibe. The atmosphere is lively but still comfortable — perfect for hanging out with friends or bringing the family. The décor and layout really make it feel like a place you want to stay and enjoy. The food is absolutely amazing. The birria tacos are next-level — juicy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and that consommé takes it over the top. Every bite is packed with flavor. Their specialty drinks are just as impressive — refreshing, creative, and the perfect complement to the food. And the servers? Truly outstanding. Imani was so friendly, attentive, and they make you feel welcome from start to finish. Customer service like that makes a huge difference. Hands down a five-star experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

  Wouldn't have come here because I do not like the laziness of having to order from a kiosk. But a family member took me here to treat me and my husband. Firstly the employees mumbled hello or something when we walked in but acted like we were disturbing their social hour. All just standing around talking together. You have to call one over to get any assistance and they do not have a good attitude about it. The food is mediocre at best. Highly overpriced. Taco shells are all greasy and soggy. Not crunchy AT ALL. Street corn is beyond bland. It tastes like frozen corn heated up with zero seasoning. Not even salt or pepper. We also ate our meal with no drink because they only offer their sugary specialty drinks or something, not even iced tea! I do not understand how these reviews are so high. This is the worst Mexican food in Jax. And to overpay for hardly any food and terrible service. It makes no sense. Just go literally anywhere else for better food and service.
