About

Taco RestaurantRestaurant
Talkin' Tacos™ started as a food truck in the Miami community, aiming to provide the best Mexican food in South Florida. But as we grew a larger and larger following, the lines around our food truck became too hard to keep up with. We knew we needed to expand into a restaurant space to be able to serve our awesome customers more of our famous tacos and Mexican food every day.

We were visiting Jacksonville beach for the weekend whenever I kept seeing ads for Talkin Tacos. We finally came tonight and boyyy! This is an experience! My gf had the street corn tacos and a bowl. I had the southwest tacos with chips & pico. This is the BEST Mexican restaurant I’ve ever had! This is a must! Don’t jog RUN!

Super cute place, however, the food was a mixed bag. My street corn was literally canned corn - not fresh off the cob like literally all other Mexican restaurants, it wasn’t creamy- watery white stuff and sparse other toppings. The plantains were not good, not sure how you mess those up. Oddly the tomato basil soup was great, my daughter had some tacos that looked great that she loved. Had one of the premium drinks with tajin and we both agreed it was gross. Really cute place, but can’t imagine giving it a second time. We paid a tip at the machine for no one to check in on us to see how things were. You place your order at a machine when you come in the door. For three people it was $80 and no alcohol was ordered. It was for three meals.

I came in at 1:45, and they had the kitchen closed already and said they aren't taking more orders. Then why say you are open till 2am and have me drive 15 minutes here then 15 minutes back? Will not go back due to that . You guys are just being lazy. You cleaned kitchen early I've worked at a restaurant and I know . I'm sure the owner would not be happy that you "closed" almost 20 min prior to close . Edit to add on after reply from owner; yeah I'm sure they just wanted to get out early because it's Friday lol. I've worked in a bunch of restaurants . Is what it is 🤷‍♀️

Worst taco experience ever. Stay away from this place. I got tge tacos to go and attempted to eat them 2 minutes after walikg out the door. The taco shells were so saturated all 3 tacos fell apart when trying to pick them up. Disgusting and they should have given me a spoon and a straw to eat their tacos. $20 for gas station slop!

On a gentle sunny day after a wonderful Christmas with family, I stopped by a local brewery and was mesmerized by the aromatic aroma from next door. Unable to resist the temptation, I found myself staring down the barrel of a Mac and Cheese with a side of “hot” sauce. Now, I enjoy the occasional spice, even those that send my nights to an early end in the panicked unravelings of toilet paper. So, no stranger to heat, I added about half the container to my Mac and cheese and took a bite. Within mere seconds, I was met with the gentle kiss of a love once forlorn, a sweetness of flavor and rekindled heat. The following moment was an equal balance of horseradish and the wrath of God. The heat exploded in my throat like a Satan Surprise without a courtesy tap and I found myself choking without release. I guzzled down my drink, anything to assuage the spice. And like a postpartum mother, I forgot my pain and decided to do it all over again. Five stars.
