i haven’t eaten mcdonald’s in a long time. i’ve only stopped a few times recently to grab something for my mama. it’s gotten a bit out of my budget, but i saw the bacon ranch deluxe chicken sandwich meal and thought, “what the hell, i’ll splurge.” from work—about 16 blocks away—I ordered through the app: the bacon ranch deluxe chicken sandwich meal with a large fry and lemonade, plus two double cheeseburgers. when i arrived, i checked in on the app, gave them my code at the speaker, and pulled around to the window. i waited about ten minutes—long enough to cut my vehicle off—before finally getting my bag. i had to get back to work, so i left, only to find out the main sandwich, the expensive part of the meal, wasn’t even in the bag. what i did get were two smashed, lukewarm double cheeseburgers and about 60–70% of a portion of fries that were also lukewarm and under-seasoned. no ketchup, either. apparently you have to ask for it now, which seems ridiculous—if i don’t ask for a cup, are you going to pour the drink in my hand? why wouldn’t ketchup automatically go in the bag for a $13 combo? Do people eat McDonald's fries without ketchup? is that a thing? and now, between calls at work, i’m stuck trying to report this through the app, which asks for information that doesn’t readily appear on the email or app receipt. the store locator map doesn’t even function properly—you can zoom all the way in to the location, but once you eventually get zoomed in on the store nothing is clickable. so instead of sitting down and enjoying a hot meal that i paid $17 for, i’m eating lukewarm double cheeseburgers and squishy fries while trying to navigate a refund process that should be a one-click fix from the app receipt. it’s ridiculous. i’ll probably give up soon and just call corporate to let them know they can keep the money—and that chicken sandwich too— and thank them for the lesson. Unless you're rich or an idiot don't eat at McDonald's. unless you enjoy shoving lukewarm food down your throat while back on clock simultaneously trying and failing to correct the employees mistake for over an hour. don’t forget to ask for ketchup for your 100-degree half portion of fries, because they won’t give it to you automatically. overall, a disappointing experience, and i’m about ready to give up on getting any refund at all. I can see why people form class action lawsuits for false advertising because when you look at the picture of a large french fry and you see all these hot golden french fries cascading out of a box on the menu but in reality the fries aren't even peeking out over the cardboard and look like they were swept up off the floor. The store manager should be ashamed of themselves. In the picture of the french fries I had been eating them on the way back to work so there were more fries in the Box than that, but not much. Keep in mind that there was only one car in the Drive-Thru in front of me ordering a couple of Happy Meals. They weren't remotely busy and they couldn't manage to get the food into the bag LOL. The receipt 224 pic (a printed receipt) is the example the app gives you so you can find necessary info to file complaint, the receipt on the left is what you get in the email and unfortunately the app receipt became unfindable and disappeared after 5 minutes from the 1st app screen but believe that info was not there and the payment info underneath the picture (obviously not going to post that) is not there either. My life is too precious to me to waste my time on any more of this. I was on a time limit and it was night time, I was quick to leave but you need to triple check your bag and make sure that the what you paid for is in there and that the temperature is at least high enough to pass the health department standards. (mine wasnt) What was it that took 20-25ish minutes total? I mean the cheese on the double cheeseburgers recoagulated and they didn't even have the common courtesy to drop the old fries back in the fryer to at least make it passable. *I gave up on the refund through app. not wasting more time ``

This restaurant requires you to buy something to use the bathroom, but the bathroom is locked and sometimes they don't have the key! I already bought food and I need the bathroom, so what now?

My wife came through the drive thru this morning to grab a Latte (October 29, 2025). They let her know the Latte machine was down and they only have drip coffee (in the morning?!). That happens, so she said thank you, but that was all she wanted so she proceeded up to wait to get out of the drive thru. Its one of those with a curb so once you are in, you are locked in. The McDonald's began yelling at her from the window that she needs to get out of the drive thru since she did not order anything. Like mentioned above, she was locked in with a car in front, behind her, and a curb to the side. She let them know she is not going to drive her vehicle over the curb and she does not mind waiting. At this point the employees turned rude. Telling her she cannot be in the Drive Thru. At one point my wife said "I do not feel comfortable doing that" referring to driving over the curb and the female employee said "feel comfortable doing what? Driving?" I worked at a McDonalds in college and I've seen rude interactions in the past between employees and customer, but never have I seen an entire staff just berate someone like that. It was disgusting and suggest poor leadership from the top.

My husband went to this location to retrieve our free mcdouble order/ chicken nuggets. Because on 09/26 I went there and a previous manager herself rushed me through the drive through without giving me any bbq sauce and I even asked if it was in the bag. I got home and there was none. I explained to her I was already spending my last 20 till payday and that she had been a little more patient I could have looked and that I don't like dry food so now it would be wasted. We live on mayport navy base 30 mins away. It is not on any regular route home, she said she could replace the meal and took my and my husband's name. Because of the shut down and and gas we have not gone anywhere we considered extra gas. Upon arriving and speaking to GWEN, the manager she had a visual attitude with the situation and was highly irritated by having to be bothered. We told her the info and i told her the date and she kept saying they don't have any information or book and that date was too far back. She just kept repeating how the date was to far back and was cutting me off when on was trying to explain the details, she over talked me multiple time just asking " is there anything for today, anything for today anything for today". I am aware of the reality of the "acceptable" customer service at McDonalds, it was 1 my first job as a teen but also I have worked in customer service over 16 year at Publix. However I am also aware what it means to take care of a customer and also what it means to do what is right when all the facts are there. She never even checked for our names just heard the date and ignored servicing us. I also said how many female managers do you have and described her. As a person who works in management that's enough to know whose who. I said she could help by giving me the name of the corporate I would make a complaint to and asked her name. She gave me the wrong number the number to the store is what she gave me. It's a sad day when as a society we continue to support companies that do not care at all about customer service and yet we spend our money there. I don't recommend this location. I would appreciate a contact back from a manager above gwen or a regional trainer who may consider offer retraining gwen in what real customer service looks like by a company who make billions. Especially when we clearly aren't lying and our reasoning for not "coming in sooner" makes even more sense. I could never imagine putting a time limit on when someone could come back and get what's right on my clock versus theirs as a business.

I’m here to make a complaint because this has already happened to me twice. A woman who works at this McDonald’s (she has a facial piercing) has mistreated me for the second time. I leave my house every day to work, and I respect everyone, no matter who they are or what my mood is that day. But I will not tolerate your bad attitude. I’m a delivery driver, and I always show respect when someone asks me to confirm an order. I do it clearly and calmly. But from the moment someone is rude and talks as if they’re giving orders — no, that I will not tolerate. Everyone should know their place and respect others. If you want respect, give respect. Because if you disrespect me, I will disrespect you too. Just as you’re working, I’m working as well. I understand that some delivery drivers steal food. Not only that, I’ve even witnessed a homeless person stealing food at this location. But if a delivery driver is showing you the confirmation of the pickup from your restaurant, respect them. Once that is confirmed, it’s no longer your problem. Other than that, I just ask that you reconsider certain attitudes.
