The atmosphere is spectacular. I had the Mahi tacos. I frequently eat Mahi so I was disappointed at the strong fish smell and flavor that happens when the Mahi is not fresh. No ketchup on the table took a while for the waitress to come back & fries were cold by the time we finally got the ketchup. Did not mind the long wait to pay our bill as we did enjoy the view.

The outdoor seating was nice. About the only thing that was. We arrived for dinner. The hostess was nice. We waited about 10 minutes for the waitress, there were about 6 tables with other and our waitress had 2 tables, ours and one other. She dropped off water, took our order, food arrived fairly quickly. We didn't talk to the waitress again at our table the entire meal until it was time for the check. I dropped my fork on the floor mid dining and had to get my own replacement. Ran out of water. So ya, that was not great. I had the fish and chips. There was so much breading you couldn't taste the fish. The "tarter sauce" was inedible. The fries were the best thing I ate here. The other meal was stuffed Grouper, which was ok, but probably wouldn't order again. The stuffing kind of took away from the fish though. One staff member was carrying a high chair, kicked my chair accidentally because she couldn't see me I guess? She did apologize. People with kids need to teach some manners as well. One kid while running around chasing his siblings ran right into the back of me....and the parents allowed them to continue running around the restaurant. Rude. I wouldn't recommend the Islamorada Fish Company. Too many other places to try

Amazing experience and truly kind staff. On Christmas Eve, I realized I had left my bag at the restaurant with all my IDs and cards when I was already two hours away. They were about to close and closed the next day for Christmas, and I had to return to Nashville. The staff was incredibly helpful, safely kept my belongings, and later shipped my bag back to me perfectly packed and intact.
Their honesty, compassion, and dedication to their customers truly went above and beyond. I am deeply grateful for their help and highly recommend this restaurant not only for the food, but for the genuine care they show their customers.

It was good but I got New England clam chowder soup and it was all potatoes and barely any clams or soup. The salad was good. This place used to be amazing but they’ve gotten kinda sloppy with their food since recently.

Great spot but sadly, very disappointed. When food was served we were missing both a bowl and a cup of chowder and received a cup of the wrong chowder. Ordered a soup/salad combo, and there was a gross hair in my salad, she said she’d comp it, but instead she took combo off and charged me separately for the soup! Really subpar customer service… I still feel queasy from the salad, yuck.
