I pass this Charleys Philly Cheesesteaks often and finally tried it. The service was fine, but the food was terrible. The bread smelled weird, like it had been sitting out too long, and I couldn’t bring myself to eat it. The fries tasted off as well. I spent my last money here and couldn’t even enjoy the meal. Very disappointing.

Lillie is a really good worker at Charles Steak House. She’s friendly, does her job well, and makes customers feel welcome. She stays on top of things even when it gets busy and is easy to work with. Overall, she’s a solid employee and a great part of the team.

Maura was super helpful even though they were about to close she made sure I had everything I needed. But adrianna though, Adrianna is the bees knees. she need a raise and a promotion cuz she always there when I go to Charley’s and she the fastest person to the register and in the kitchen and she too gorgeous to be back there anyway.

Came in last night placed 2 orders .One order I asked for ranch but was not charged for it but I didn't notice until after I came from drive thru to walk inside . I stated I had just ordered in the drive thru but didn't get the ranch which I asked for over the speaker but didn't realize I wasn't charged or it wasn't on my receipt I asked for it wasn't charged and didn't receive it .Fine! After waiting for the employee to check every previous order in the drive thru for a "ranch " employee states that no ranch was ordered and the price of 1 side of ranch. Then I asked if I may have a Ranch because I did ask for one but was unaware of the fee or they I was not charged for it in the drive thru . The employee again explained that I wasn’t charged and told me the price of the ranch. I then mentioned that the cashier at the window didn’t give me my $0.17 in change and asked if it could just be applied toward the ranch and I’d pay the difference. The employee said there was no change and that they couldn’t do that.I understand policies, but after spending up to $50 at times and supporting this place for about 3 years, it’s disappointing that a customer can’t receive a simple condiment without such a hassle. There was no disrespect on either side, but it would’ve been nice to at least accommodate the situation or explain the policy so I know for next time.However, I did end up paying the full price for the ranch, which wasn’t really the issue. I just didn’t want any trouble on either end. As someone who has supported this place with my hard-earned money, it was frustrating to stand inside for almost 10 minutes practically begging for a ranch that usually comes with wings anyway.
It also reminded me of a previous order where I asked for a Steak & Cheese with no onions but received a sandwich with so many onions they were literally hanging out of the wrapper—but that’s another review for another time.
Customer service here is honestly hit or miss. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s great, but situations like this leave a bad impression.
