I’m sharing in hopes of avoiding someone going through what I just went through. I will be reaching out to corporate as well because this is not only unacceptable, unproductive, unprofessional, incompetent but above all it is quite literally illogical. Attached are all mobile orders I have placed at this Wendy’s in one year. This does not include orders placed at the window or using my daughter’s mobile account. As you can see I placed the usual order for my daughter, 2 baconator fries with extra cheese on many occasions (order is 10.68 or so). The extra cheese is always given on the side. There have been times they have forgotten and quickly correct the mistake and service is still considered satisfactory. Today when I pull up to the window I check and once again I don’t have the cheese sauce. I politely let them know and don’t anticipate any issues as this happens more often than not. The young man tells the manager who proceeds to come to the window to let me know the extra cheese is in the fries. I advised I paid an additional $1.20 and I would like it on the side. She said fine but said to give her back the fries because she can’t give the additional cheese which was included in the order. I was literally bewildered and astounded at the ridiculousness of what I just heard. This lady who declared herself the manager of the establishment took the fries. Prepared 2 new fries with one scoop of cheese, so I wouldn’t reap the benefit of 1 extra scoop of cheese per order. So, her logical brain instead opted to waste 2 batches of fries, 2 batches of bacon, the containers, the bag, napkins and most importantly upset the customer who was pretty loyal to that Wendy’s and Wendy’s altogether as my preference when getting fast food. How does this make any sense at all? Wendy’s do better. Please train your managers and with such fierce competition you can’t lose any customers. I will now venture out and find a new preferred fast food joint. I will reach out to corporate and amend this review if the response is acceptable.
