Absolutely unacceptable experience at this Outback Steakhouse in hialeah by Westland mall.
My wife and I came in with our legitimate ADA service dog, and we were immediately turned away because we “didn’t have papers.” This is not only wrong, it is illegal under federal law. Businesses are allowed to ask two simple ADA questions — nothing more — and demanding “papers” is discriminatory and unlawful.
The employee who confronted us was dismissive, uneducated on the law, and treated us as if we were trying to do something wrong. The level of disrespect was shocking. We left not because we were in the wrong, but because there is no reason to waste our time or dignity dealing with staff who have zero training and even less professionalism.
It is 2025. If a national chain restaurant still doesn’t understand basic ADA regulations, that’s a failure of management, training, and corporate responsibility.
We will not be returning to this location, and I hope Outback corporate takes immediate action so other customers with disabilities are not treated this way.
He was about 5’10 black hair clean shaven dress shirt, and he was working as a host/greeter. He should get proper training.

I had a very disappointing and illegal experience at this Outback location. I arrived with my service dog, and the employee at the door demanded “proof of documentation” before allowing me inside. I explained that under the ADA and Florida law, it is illegal for a business to require paperwork for a service dog. They are only allowed to ask two questions, and I even explained those to him calmly.
Despite this, he refused to let me in, even after I clarified how the ADA works. This is discrimination and a complete lack of training from the staff. No business should be turning away people with service animals, especially after being informed of the law.
Extremely unprofessional, disappointing, and unacceptable treatment. I hope this location gets proper ADA training so no one else has to experience this.

I came to eat for Veterans Day and it was amazing, the best deal for a veteran. I ordered a 6oz. Sirloin, I have to say that it was a 5/5. The place was very friendly and elegant, I liked it a lot. And last but not least, the service, the waitress was very nice and the manager came to my table to thank me for my service and gave me a coupon for my next visit, I didn’t expect that. It was a really nice experience. Will keep coming back for sure.

Went there on a Saturday night. The place wasn't packed , but quite busy. We barely waited. We had the sirloins steaks, the 11 oz ones and they came out great. The waiter was great too and super friendly. Overall, a great experience.

I visit this place 1 or 2 times a week with my family (4). Today I went alone and told the hoste, table for one she offered me the bar or the high tables, I told her that I don't like to eat there. The place was empty, she was never accessible to help me and give me a normal table. I told her no, I'd better go.
She didn't mind letting a customer go, and not helping. Very bad service on her part.
