  As a frequent diner with extensive experience across a wide range of restaurants, I am well acquainted with standard service expectations and the importance of billing transparency. Regrettably, my recent experience at ETARU Restaurant fell significantly short of these standards and represents one of the most disappointing instances of customer service I have encountered. On March 22nd, I attended brunch accompanied by one guest. The advertised price was $79 per person, and we did not request or consume any items beyond what was included in the brunch package. Accordingly, the final bill should have reflected this fixed pricing. Instead, we were charged a total of $302.26—an amount that is clearly excessive and inconsistent with what was ordered and consumed. Since that date, I have made several attempts to resolve this matter directly with the restaurant’s manager. Despite multiple calls and follow-ups, the issue remains unresolved as of April 9th. The manager has repeatedly delayed taking corrective action and has demonstrated little initiative in addressing what appears to be a clear overcharge. This situation highlights a serious lack of accountability and raises concerns regarding the restaurant’s billing practices. It is unacceptable for an establishment of this reputation to manage customer concerns in such an unprofessional and dismissive manner, particularly when the discrepancy is so evident. I strongly encourage future patrons to review their bills carefully and remain vigilant regarding charges. Transparency and integrity are essential in any dining experience, and unfortunately, those standards were not upheld in this case.

  You can't go wrong with the food here. Everything is amazing, just like their sister restaurant, Zuma, in downtown Miami. The chefs pull together a diverse and flavorful menu that has something for just about any palette. The only attributes that rival their dishes are the location and atmosphere. It is for a large part, an open air dining experience, right beside the beach. You'll feel the ocean breeze and hear the breaking waves, only to be further outdone by the views on the upper floor. If you're staying or live in the area, be sure to come by to try their delicious delicacies while being comfortably nestled in a little slice of beach paradise.

  Mrs and I shared all of our plates, and I think that's the way to go here. Plenty of food, and you get to try more than just each ordering for yourself. We had the Caesar Salad, Grilled Prawns, Tuna Maki, Salmon Maki and Black Cod with Yucca Fries. Very reasonably priced for quality food. Last, and most importantly, Paula was an absolute delight as our server. We told her how much we appreciated her, and she was so sweet (almost in tears) at the appreciate. God bless you, Paula!

  If you’re looking for a place where time slows down and patience is truly tested, this is your spot. The girl at the bar was so rude it honestly felt like she didn’t want to serve us — or even have us there at all. We waited about an hour for a table, only to find out that the “welcoming” host somehow couldn’t find my phone number… even though I literally saw it on her screen. Impressive. It seems our table was generously given to someone else instead of, you know, actually calling us. We arrived at 7:00 PM, got seated at 8:15, and our food showed up around 9:00 PM — so if you enjoy long-term commitments, you’ll love their service speed. Both the service and kitchen move at a very… relaxed pace. The only highlight? The view. Truly beautiful — you’ll have plenty of time to admire it while waiting for everything else. Pro tip: come here full, maybe have a drink, enjoy the scenery, and leave. That’s about all this place can reliably deliver.

  Tuve una experiencia increíble en este restaurante y definitivamente se ha convertido en uno de mis lugares favoritos. Desde el momento en que llegas, el ambiente es elegante pero acogedor, perfecto tanto para una cena especial como para una salida más casual. La comida es simplemente espectacular. Cada plato está lleno de sabor, bien presentado y se nota la calidad de los ingredientes. Las carnes estaban perfectamente cocidas, jugosas y con un sabor increíble, y los acompañamientos complementaban todo a la perfección. También probé algunos de sus platos especiales y quedé impresionada con la creatividad del menú. El servicio fue otro punto destacado. El personal fue muy atento, amable y siempre pendiente de cada detalle sin ser invasivo. Se tomaron el tiempo para recomendar platos y asegurarse de que todo estuviera perfecto durante toda la experiencia. En general, este sitio superó todas mis expectativas. Excelente comida, servicio impecable y un ambiente hermoso. Sin duda volveré y lo recomiendo al 100% a cualquiera que quiera disfrutar de una experiencia gastronómica de alta calidad.
