Our local Cuban spot in Hallandale beach, the food here is always good
good.
Nice crowd for a Sunday evening. Not too long of a wait for a table.
Will come back again to try some more dishes

I had a great experience at Padrino’s Cuban Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and authentically Cuban.
The service was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The staff made us feel comfortable and well taken care of without being intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and the portions were generous. You can really taste the quality and care in every dish.
It’s definitely a place I would return to, whether for a family meal or to introduce someone to great Cuban cuisine. Highly recommended.

What can I say after this restaurant ruined three meals we had in the last few months? We actually wanted to give them another chance after each mistake, since we've been their customers for a very long time. But we should have stopped after the first time we felt it was starting to go downhill.
First time: November 2025. Our to-go order takes more than 30 minutes to be prepared, while other orders placed after ours are delivered before. By that time, we also noted a slight decline in some of their recipes (especially the chicken soup, which now has more green peppers than anything else).
Second time: February 2026. Another to-go order, and this time I make it clear that we wanted NO GREEN PEPPERS in our chicken soup. When we open the soup containers at home, surprise: lots of green peppers on it. I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant to ask them to change it.
Third time: February 25th 2026. The worst of all. We ordered one Picadillo and one Palomilla Steak, and asked to change one of the sides of the Picadillo (instead of the sweet plantains, we asked to have an extra side of white rice replacing it). The order was supervised by the manager on site. No space for mistakes. When the got back home with our order, surprise: they sent the sides for the Picadillo as ordered, but they didn't send the sides for the Palomilla Steak. Once again, I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant. Instead of apologizing, the manager on site was very rude. She told me they understood we wanted no sides for the Palomilla Steak (which was never mentioned and would be completely nonsense, since all dishes come with two sides, we wouldn't be crazy to order them without any sides). When they brought the order back, another mistake: they still missed the sweet plantains and a side of white rice. I only realized that when I got back to my car. When I returned to the restaurant, I was confronted by the manager, who told me I should have checked my order inside the restaurant. She insinuated that I was hiding the sweet plantains inside my car, which was totally ridiculous.
That's their current level of service. Untrained staff, disorganized kitchen, and a terrible management that lacks any notion of customer service.
This was my 3rd time coming everything was absolutely delicious 😋 the atmosphere of the people and the works was on point. As you walk in you could feel like family peace, happy, laughter and everyone having a wonderful time together. I will definitely come back again.
My girlfriend and I recently visited Miami and patronized Padrino's for dinner one night. Up until that night, my only exposure to Cuban food was a little place near work (not in Miami) and the Cuban sandwiches I've eaten in Miami. Padrino's, however, took it to a whole different level.
I ordered ropa vieja and it was pretty good. The rice and the beans on the side were nice. However, my girlfriend's dinner was amazing! She ordered vaca frita and had a side of yuca. She gave me a taste of both and they were EXCELLENT-- I didn't have either until that night.
Serving sizes were generous and prices were reasonable for the quality and amount of food. Service was good, the restaurant looked clean, and the vibe/music was just right. I recommend Padrino's to anyone visiting the Miami area.
