Since I was a child, whenever I travel to the United States from Brazil, Five Guys is a mandatory stop for me. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience at the Miami location at 800 E Hallandale Beach Blvd. From the very beginning of the ordering process, I already faced issues with basic ingredients that were unavailable, such as bacon and mushrooms. Even so, I placed my order, and after waiting 15 minutes, I noticed they were already calling orders in the 60s while mine was number 50. I asked the staff, and they found my order, which had been lost among other orders. After waiting another 15 minutes for them to prepare it, I requested a cancellation, but I was ignored, and they rushed out the order anyway. The burgers came with missing ingredients and were poorly assembled. The fries I received were a small size even though I had ordered a large, and they were soggy. The food was completely below the brand’s standard. The staff seemed completely lost, constantly switching positions between workstations. The cashier handled burger buns with the same hand used to handle money. During preparation, meat and cheese were dropped on the floor. It was complete chaos. The store manager was trying to push orders out with a poorly trained team, but unfortunately, it was impossible to manage the situation properly. I suggest closing the store for one week to retrain the team and/or hiring employees who care about maintaining the brand’s basic standards.Since I was a child, whenever I travel to the United States from Brazil, Five Guys is a mandatory stop for me. I arrived at this establishment at 9:53 p.m. I understand that you’re closing soon at 10 p.m., but you’re not closed. They refused to serve me, claiming that they were closed.
