- ZYZachary YoungJan 28, 20261.0Imagine a McDonald’s being run by 14 and 15 year old high school students; this is it. I placed an order online, via the app, 15 min before arriving at the restaurant. While I was in the drive through to pick it up, I waited 5 min before they told me to pull into a spot and wait. Then, a girl came out 10 min later asking what I ordered, and I told her my order number and what I ordered. She came back out 15 min later to ask the same question again, not sure if she didn’t speak English or what was going on with her. I then walked into the restaurant to speak to a manager about the slow service and to request a refund for the food, since obviously they weren’t preparing it nor had any idea what I ordered. When I walked in the entire local softball team was in there asking for “free” food from a worker, which could explain the delays in the paying customers experience. Along with that, there was at least 5, 15 year old students working, none of which looked like they knew what they were doing. The manager was helpful and provided a refund, along the food, but I still wasted an hr of my day for McDonald’s and feel like this coulda been prevented if I dealt with someone with an ounce of responsibility when taking and dealing with orders. I’m not from this area, nor will I ever come back. Be warned that this location is truly run by the local high school and almost reminded me of a cafeteria in school, being truly disorganized.
