- SSStephenJan 30, 20262.0Pretty crappy service for a place that asks a premium. One of our hot dogs was missing half a bun....what?? Fries were done when we picked up order (despite being told numerous times they don't do this..) and were room temperature. Fries were also not the usual amount, although there were still plenty. This is after paying $40 for two and tipping.... When I called to let them know it was pretty disappointing (esp the missing half bun!), the employee who answered the phone just sat there saying nothing and apparently handed the phone to the manager while I was explaining the situation without saying a word. Pretty much lines up with the professionalism displayed with the order. Manager did offer a comp but I wasn't looking for a hand out or anyone to get fired. I just wanted someone to pretend like they gave a damn for 20 seconds. I couldn't really even get that on a pretty minor issue...Good food but apathetic service.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
